That's what I would expect from the good destroy ending (Shepard's armour heavyly breathing)

ME4 with Shepard is a must (for me)

I'm gonna guess there won't be a ME4 despite what EA/BW claims.

Hmmm, why are you saying that this is shep's end? Yeah they "stated" that it's shep's end.
But do it need to be his end? Nope, they have shown to much already that shep is alive. Sooooo...
Dont be so f****** lame (sorry)

They can do another story with shep, no problem.
You are one of few that do not want shep in Mass Effect 4.
And i am one of plenty that want shep in Mass Effect 4 !

Either die a trilogy or live long enough to see yourself become Batman & Robin.

If they keep spitting out games the seriers will be completely ruined and turned in to some kind of unserious money making machine like need for speed, no thanks.

I want the end of shepards story, and i want it with closure so please get on with the dlc. after they can make a spinoff mass effect but not with shepard, not even in the same timeline as shepard.

Already been established that Mass Effect 3 is the end of Shepard's story.

But this is not the end of Mass Effect. I'm not sure how any other Mass Effect could compete, though. Shepard is a hero, a bloody icon. Everyone knows Shepard, everyone loves Shepard, everyone will always know and love Shepard.

I really doubt that any other main character Bioware comes up with will be as awesome as Commander Shepard.

Just say Commander Shepard out loud. It just rolls right off the tongue, it sounds and feels so good to say.

Shepard will never die, and no one else will ever be better than him.

Devs have stated from the star, that Shepard's story ends with ME3. So any future games will have a new lead.

You know, after reading this, it actually makes me feel sad.

When a new Mass Effect comes out, with a new lead, I don't know if I could bring myself to play it.

No, Sheps story ended if they attempt to write him into another game it will be like beating a dead horse in the hopes it will **** money.

What's Shep going to fight now the Reapers are dead? What's going to happen seeing as there are no more relays?

It's better to make a new game set further in the future with new characters with some of the ME trilogy characters playing a part (Liara as the Shadowbroker, Wrex and Eve) fighting something a little more mundane.

Although tbh my hope is that the figure out how to rebuild the mass relays then build a giant one to be used as a mass driver and send a ship to a nearby galaxy of which your the XO or something. And I really hope you can pick a race. :)

a Mass Effect 4 surrounding Shepard is one promise they didn't make and I personally don't want this. Like I've said in other threads. I don't want to be playing Mass effect 12 with the 4th cloned shepard or something. that would jsut ruin mass effect. Shepard's had his story. you could only get bigger and in my opinion sillier from there. Like the last season of Stargate if you ask me. it was epic but it was so far away from it's roots it wasn't even funny. It was like a different program with some of the same characters.

Mass Effect has a lot of potential and Shepard should take a break and we should get other heroes. Ones that can do smaller stories but can still take on epic scope in the universe... Like how about one more more games based on contact with a new civilization and problems that might come with it on a limited resource and small backing group where problems could still be huge and potentially have galactic impact kind of like the first Mass Effect game.

There will be other games.
It will not feature Shepard in any capacity.

I dont really think it's possible to continue the Mass Effect universe now though. I mean really. I just dont. I cant possibly think of any realistic way to get the universe to work now that the Citadel, the main villains, and the primarily means of long distance transportation are gone.

If they make a new game, it would be like playing a game with no objective. The Reapers are finished, now are we going to go to fight world hunger? That would a pretty depressing and boring game. We have enough RL problems based around world hunger.

I dont know if my point is coming accross. But I just don't see how they can fix what they've done, perhaps they don't even intend to.

I see alot of people being optimistic and spitballing ideas and theorys, thats nice to see such optimism, but simply truth is, realistically, you cant really progress the Universe on a large scale.

There is always the Dark Matter buildup, but BioWare scratched that.

Haha, how about Indoc Theory, in ME4 Shepard can become a companion if you chose destroy with high EMS otherwise he is the main badguy if you chose the other two :D

There's nothing wrong with that.  It's not your typical ending and that's why it's so great.

I like the idea of having a new hero that isn't connected to the previous games for it resets our involvement with the story.

Besides I rather not have Shepard be like Master Chief with Halo 4.

Everytime I play ME2, which I am now again, I get a sense that Thane would be great for a spinoff to the Mass Effect series in his own game, involving assignation assignments, investigation, interrigating type work.   When I did his mission in ME2 I really think Bioware did well in this area to the point that I wouldn't mind playing an entire game around Thane maybe working with a team mate (Shepard) in a Mistery solving game.

Besides, in the after credits scene, Stargazer told the child that he would tell him "one more story". Am I the only one that assumed that meant ME4 WITH Shepard?

Mass Effect 4, Shepard wakes up aboard the Normandy shortly after the Beacon on Eden Prime. there he tells Dr.Chakwas and Cpt.Anderson of his Vision. then we get to play the real Game because ME1,2 and 3 were actually just the vision from the Beacon

A post shepard story that took place maybe 100 years later would be cool, IMO

Shepard will be long gone (had he not died in the ending), & the only surviving member is Liara, who will narrate his amazing story to the new hero (heroine).

Turn out that final space scene shepard had with Liara on earth (if she is your LI), result in a blue baby, & she is a LI character.

Tuchaka now looks like a nice civilisation, they build statue of him, & an offspring of Wrex is your team member.

I do not however have idea who will be the enemy? Reaper again....or.

To be honest, I hate companies splitting trilogies just because of marketing reasons. It was supposed to be a trilogy, so let's please keep it as that.

WHY?

Shepard was a name, a voice, and a blank.

It won't be hard at all to replace Shepard.

The supporting characters is what I'm worried about.
