Crap choices i must say :/
Wonder how many of the voters have played the game? Considering the site it's impossible to say.

I bet the results would look a lot different if everyone read the devs' pre-release quotes... Who cares anyway, it's gamefaqs.

Also, it is possible to do double votes if you come back to the site after 6 hours or so (or it has to do with cookies). Not representative.

Bad poll is bad. That whole poll frames the issue as "Bioware Vs. Fans" which is just terrible.

I didn't like any of the options which left me picking the one that is closest to my opinion. I wanted a "Yes, because the ending is bad."

Bioware shouldn't change it because fans want it changed. They should change it because it's bad.

Where is the "Yes, the current ending is the worst in video game history, makes no sense at all, and has enough plot holes to fly the entire Reaper fleet through?" option?

All I'm seeing is crap options that really don't reflect my opinion. How am I supposed to vote? And as others suggested, it seems it's deliberately made to incite a BioWare Vs. Fans debate.

LOL regardless of whether the poll is accurate or not, we're winning by a landslide, now!

How i it losing out? 66% are in favor, besides we do not know how many of these voters actually own or even played a Mass Effect game.

Pardon me, but are you drawing attention to this poll so that those "holding the line" can rally together and skew the results of that poll?

You're the reason the various polls and surveys on the Mass Effect 3 ending don't paint an accurate picture of player reacton. Kudos.

Since when was bringing the attention of a poll concerning a video game, to the audience of that video game, skewing the results.

I'd say the 50000 odd people registering on the Retake FB page and the $78000 raised for charity in the name of that movement paints an accurate picture of player reaction.

Yeh I should probably change that title now

so many problems with taking that poll seriously as a statistic XD

Blac:Know what skews the results? Having people who have no idea about the subject material voting on it.  How many people in that poll completed the games? How does bringing an audience who largely has make the poll less important (which is a laughable idea that it ever would be)

You do not need to have played the game to have an opinion. It's not about the quality of the finale, and those of you complaining about the lack of a "yes, 'cause it sucks" option are an embarrassment to the Retake movement.

Yes you do. Because people who haven't played the game probably assumes that this whole thing is a result of fans not liking the way Bioware ended the series, when the truth is that it's about Bioware releasing a faulty, broken ending that contradicts previous promises made by them.

No, you don't. You may like to think of yourself as horribly misunderstood, but trust me when i say that anyone who follows gaming is intimately aware of your issues.

The first answer on the poll sums up your thoughts quite succinctly.

Anyway, thanks for posting this thread OP. It has proven that the Retake movement is full of poor readers and cheats.

People of the retake movement don't read Gamefaqs, that's why.

It's like Fox News throwing up an Obama approval poll.

It's probably just a cheap stunt by them to get us to give them pageviews.

You posted this thread so those that share your views could manipulate the results.

It's interesting that a significant portion of those 50,000 players didn't donate. I strongly suspect that the movement is quite so strong, and that many people signed up multiple times under different names. Just as you clear your cache and vote twice on opinion polls.

The poll is about the larger principle. Should a developer alter their game because of a fan outcry.

Critical thinking obviously isn't that high among the Retake movement.

OMG everyone someone on the internet just told us to trust him.  I can't say no that.  The masses of the misinformed HAVE TO BE INFORMED BECAUSE HE SAID SO!!!

Fantastic logical fallacy *thumbs up*

The poll is a joke for so many reasons.  How is our opinion not valid?  How many of the people answering the poll have an intimate knowledge of the debate? How many completed the game? How many people don't go on that website but have an opinion about the subject?  Oh I'll just accept your "everyone knows cause I said so" circular logic as the answer.  It's just as good as the Starchild's

As for wording? That means the question is inherently flawed with a bias and thus the poll numbers are moot anyway.  It's called response bias.

Ok then, back that up with some proof and we'll be getting somewhere, if the movement is not so strong then I'm sure the people content with the endings can vote in that poll and even out the results
