So far only those of the HTL camp explained the need for a change, and these explanations had everything to do with ME.

Those who are against a change, give every explanation there is for thier stance. However, none of these has any connection to ME.

Can we get a clearer picture on this from you EOTL camp?

None of them will ever be able to explain in detail without drawing inane comparisons between Mass Effect and various movie/book franchises that are nothing like it.

There are camps now? Isn't this just a game? A majority of these people/gamers who play ME, play to beat the game and move on. There is no need for an explanation, they are gamers, they play to beat games, that is their goal. This doesn't mean that they are not of a fan of the ME series, with the way society works, most people are ready to consume the next hot title. The game ends and you move on, good or bad, just another notch in the belt.

Plus, 90% of the players do not have time to troll the boards and swift through the BSN forums.

I swear I just saw a thread with the same title as this one not 5 min ago.

Cos the endings are more likable than obnoxious spamming terrorists

I enjoyed the ending because of (without spoilers) the pseudo-religious undertones.

I though it was moving.

The whole starchild AI is ridiculous if he was in the station why did Sovereign need to go to the citadel and activate the Reaper signal if Starchild was already there

You did, this was spammed in the Spoiler Forum too.  I like how there has to be sides, camps, really?  You are literally hunting a ghost here, no one else cares to repsond because all it is going to do is create a flame war.  Your "camp" is looking for an internet fight, an internet argument...

Is that your stance? Because if it is, then we have different meanings to being a fan of something. Also, if what you are saying is correct, then all those who want the ending to stick, doean't really care. Which is sad really...

I enjoyed the endings. I will also enjoy any ending DLC that Bioware will produce.

I like the ending, there are plot holes but the indcotrination theory is obvlious correct.

Can't say much more without giving spoilers

I'm kinda curious about that one as well. A lot of people never played Deus Ex so they don't see what a rip off the ending is. Or having only played the game once don't realise that the endings are pretty much the same. Don't notice the plot holes or wonder how X ended up Y.

Indocrination seems to be the last straw to clutch at for some. Of course knowingly shipping the game like that is not going to go down well with those without internet access...

Isn't this still a non-spoiler forum?

I would go in-depth with my opinion, too, if it wasn't.

Because they were a MASTERPIECE, and the 75 perfect 10/10 scores prove it. I understand that some of Biowares most passionate fans are dim witted but don't worry, Casey Hudson is working hard on figuring out just what part of the endings were too majestic and subtle for the artless haters to comprehend. Expect DLC to make the brilliance of the endings clear enough so that even the dimwitted haters among the BSN can admire them and appreciate them as true art like they deserve.

I've noticed that no one has yes to elaborate on why they love the endings. Just a point to put out there.

I am just giving some insight. I am a hardcore ME fan, read the books and comics, yay for me! These forums are a joke now, like I said before, it has turned into a hunting ground. This "camp" you speak of was extremely negative from the get go, Metacritic bombing with 0/10, real nice. There were even some of you calling for the firing of certain employees and often talked about how this would be downfall of Bioware.

So, now you get what you want and yet you still troll the boards with the same topic over and over again.
