It's been 3 weeks and we are already going to be treated with some "ending dlc". On this fact alone, Bioware deserves praise. It shows they listen to and care about what their fans think, even if what is being said does not represent all fans. To think what Bioware has said recently is a lie is completely unfounded. After saying what they have said, turning around is not an option, that is the real way to alienate fans. That being said, there is no reason for people to try to "deconstruct" what was said. Of course it is carefully phrased, they don't have something ready, but they know they have to come up with something that meets expectations. It is unrealistic to think that they would already come out with something that is concrete and announce it, specially just 3 weeks after release. The important and main point is that you are being listened to and your concerns WILL be addressed. There is no need to try to read between the lines, if they were actually lying, that would be the worst business move they could make at this point... so just relax, you are being listened to, your pain will be soothed. Many fans did a good job at putting the point across, but there are many others who made them look bad by behaving poorly, spewing vitriol and unfounded claims, this is unnecessary, and even more so now that there has been official word from multiple official sources. Now the topic seems to be if it is to be free or not... By this point it is clear something is coming. So good job, but now more than ever is the time to not be d-bags and attack Bioware's responses - they certainly think your opinion is important, so chill out.
