I was disappointed I could not have Liara live in my cabin. Nice big double bed... lots of space... a reward for keeping faithful.

I didn't see a bed in the battery room so I assumed garrus slept in shepard's cabin *grin* but it would have been cool if you could catch your LI in your cabin sometimes between missions. They move around anyway so why not the cabin if you romanced them?

Come to think of it... She is the only one besides Shepard to get her own bed.... talk about favoritism.

That would have been cool, they done it in DA2 once you romanced your chosen LI. At the very least it would have been nice to be able to summon them up to your room via the comm terminal whenever you fancy.

Excellent idea. Plus, as the poster above says, the ability to 'summon' them up would have been very nice.

Then we could have arguments about Shepard stripping off his dirty socks and throwing them across the room when he gets home from a battle...

 I'd love this idea.  If the rumored Romance pack DLC is true then I'd love Tali to move up in there.  

Also, I'd like Tali decorating the place to her heart's content (minus removing my fish, space hamster, and ship models). The cabin looks its falling apart.

So yeah, if I got a locked LI and the Romance DLC, having your LI adding items, doodads, and sentimental stuff that is relevant and fitting for them would be EPIC AWESOMENESS!

Not just for Liara, but for all of the romances.

Even though she isn't a squadmate, I would still like to call Miranda up to the cabin. It doesn't necessarily need to lead to sex, but just Shepard spending time with her before the final battle, reassuring her that the time they spent together wasn't all for nothing.
