ME3's ending is not the actual ending and Bioware planned this all along.

Thank god I decided to check the ending out via youtube prior to beating it with my 1st Shepard. It's the only time i've intentionally checked out the end of a game prior to beating it myself.

It takes a bit of the sting off knowing "my" Shepards never experienced that ending, thus via headcanon it doesn't exist. And as a nugget for Bioware, none of my Shepards will be put through that ending as it is...ever.

However "your" Shepard is screwed.

Same here, cant get myself playing my other Shepards, it feels so pointless. Dont even want to play Swtor anymore.
Guess I'll wait for Diablo 3, Blizz probably have enough staff with few braincells left to not pull ending like this.

I've been slowly going through my replay, and doing occasional MP. But I've lost interest in playing anything not ME related until Shep's story is truly concluded

at night, I just play the MP. It doesn't have too many plotholes to count, no God child, plus being a Krogan is awesome!

Single player through? Played through it once, left a bad, bad taste in my mouth. haven't touched it since. For the record, I played Mass Effect 13 times and ME2 9 times.

I hope you're happy, Mac Walters! If your ending was meant to make people STOP playing Mass Effect, you succeeded as far as I'm concerned. Good on you, sir!

Actually, thanks to the face import screw up and my inability to recreate her properly it wasn't really "my" Shepard that went through the playthrough, therefore it never really happened.

Yeah, me too.  I'm still amazed that an ending can evoke this type of reaction from me.  I'm usually a rather moderate person but for some reason the ending just got to me.  I actually started up a second playthrough out of sheer force of will but I intend to turn it off the moment I see our good friend Marauder Shields.  He will prevail this second time through.

Same issue. I went out and bought Skyrim to try and wash the taste of ME3 out of my mouth, can't do it though, just no desire.

So now i have 2 new games collecting dust while I stand around hoping Bioware stops taking crazy pills.

Gratz Bioware for not only wrecking the ME franchise but also temporarily killing my gaming libido.

Ouch, that's a double edged sword. On one hand not having your Shepard to import blows, but on the other hand, and like you said, it helped you not be as emotionally invested when the whole thing went off the rails.

I've only done a single playthrough.

Have four other Shepards lined up, but no sense in running them through.

Funny, I too had only ME3 to look forward to this year. Took comfort in the fact that, not only could I replay the hell out of ME3, but I'd be replaying the entire series as different classes I've never considered before, more Fem Sheps, a Paragade perhaps, and make different decisions. 

Well, that's pretty much been blown to hell.
