You're really complaining about weapons taking "Skill" in a COOP only MP? Is this a joke? If not, the Call of Duty forums are that way ==>.

I got valiant too. I can best compare it with viper. My viper is level 5 atm and is just a little worse than valiant. It has little less damage and just slighty lower rate of fire (which is canceled because of double clip size so fire rate is pretty much the same over a longer period), but it is lighter.
Viper is silver class (uncommon) and i will easily get it to level 10 where it will have, at least, the same damage and probably more. So, if valiant gets nerfed in ANY way, it will be useless over silver class weapon.
If it was possible to get valiant to level 10, nerfing it just a little would not be a disaster, but only bad.

again if the points add up equally at the end no matter your score, if your team totals 400,000 points and you earned 250,000 of those points it will still be divided equally to 100,000 per player so the strength of the weapons and powers doesn't really matter at least not in ME3's MP.

Note. used large numbers for ease of calculation .

Not going to lie: love the Valiant.

It's top of line like the majority of the other ultra rare weapons.

It's meant to be overall better then the majority of other snipers. Just like the Black Widow.

The N7 weapons are extremely rare. They're supposed to be better than the other weapons! The reason for ridiculous scores with the valiant are due to its quickscoping ease. Any quick-scoper with a powerful sniper will dominate your game.

100k+ points on gold every time.

I too have the Raptor. However I still have it at rank IV, and I tried it only when it was at rank I. And I can easily say it is no match for the Valiant. Although, I must admit that at level X it could be a decent "opponent".
Anyone out there who can compare a Raptor X with a Valiant I?

Its not the gun, its the class. I get scores like that all the time with the Mantis or Widow.

What are you saying it's true, I can't deny it.
However, I uploaded that image only to show you what score I get when I use the Valiant, knowing that I barely managed to go over 40k when using a Mantix X or a Widow I.

Uh? Skill is required in any game, be it CoD or ME3.

That's because you are a good sniper.

The fact that I get scores like that only when using the Valiant, regardless of the class, is proof that it is too good in my opinion.

the gun is higher than ultra rare no chance of you getting it outside BW's good graces through challenges it better be one of the best SRs in the game also I envy you I got a Eagle good gun but was hoping to get the Valiant. Basically my gun of choice in SP other than the geth SR

I use a Widow 2. Not a Black Widow, but a Widow.

That takes skill. 1 bullet clip. Missing a headshot, will cause you 5 seconds of delay. 5 seconds of delay can make a big difference...

But I wish I had the BW. =(

Raptor is more of assault riffle than sniper. I would take mattock before raptor anytime. Since raptor is not automatic, i can't use it's firerate to it's max making it even closer to mattock. damage advantage will be even higher on higher levels of the gun, so it is another plus for the mattock. Negative side is that you need upgrade slot if you want scope. that slot can be used for damage upgrade on raptor and give it advantage in both damge and scoping.

edit: ok, writing the end of the post i realized i would not take mattock over raptor anytime I would really have to see them on level 10 and i would need much more upgrades than i have now to be able to make the best combination and compare them.

ME3 CE on the PC and PS3.

Didn't like it.  Feels weak and the recoil on it is just bad.  I guess if I spend more time with it, it'll get better but so far I'm not a fan.
