And there I thought they couldn't possibly ruin the ending any more than they did.
Sad part is, I'm not even surprised by this **** anymore.

I don't know... what I got from the stargazer scene was that it was supposed to be the same planet as the Normandy crashes on. Two moons / planets in the sky and all that.
If that is the case they wouldn't last even a 1000 years before inbreeding killed them.
A lot can happen in that time.

Asari reproduction has evolved to be the way it is because of asari's natural biotic abilities and natural occurring eezo on Thessia. Even the codex says the word "evolved," and although it doesn't say what it evolved from, we can speculate that at one point they may have reproduced normally with males/female joinings.
Without mass relays, an asari population on a planet without that eezo would probably lose their biotic abilities over time an maybe start reproducing the old fashioned way... which may result in male asari.
10,000 years is a long time and things change. Not necessarily lore breaking.

"A little bit asari, a little bit human" isn't exactly hard to interpret the way people are interpreting it.

I guess I'll have to take a look later. Seems completely facepalm material. I didn't get that impression at all from the scene.ConradsLaces wrote...

Why are so many people believing this? It's a really unconvincing fake.
It's not fake. Numerous people have pointed out how you, yourself, can go and verify the validity of the topic at hand.
What proof do you have that it's fake? Other than your opinion?

So, in 10,000 years we still don't have space travel? ****ing phenomenal.

They can die of poisonous food, predators, bacteria, the air could contain allergens that kills them after a day. The magnetosphere could be so low they die of radiation... Yeah, a lot could happen.

When something looks a little bit X, a little bit Y, one can assume it is a little bit X and a little bit Y.
Not that it matters, since the whole quote is a dev note and not intended to be in any way part of the actual game experience...

I didn't get the impression it was remotely asari from the scene either...
But the art-direction data in in the game files... Gibbed posted it, and people have verified it... granted it was just art direction, and the graphic artists either didn't run with it, or didn't illustrate it clear enough...

You know... that's an incredible point. If the Reapers were allowed to...reap... the more advanced races (and leave a handful of the lesser developed ones alone); we would be in the exact some position.
DAMN IT BIOWARE!
This REALLY makes it seem like there's only ONE ending... no matter what we choose, humanity ends up in the exact same boat every...damn....time...
From 'War Games' - "The only winning move... is not to play."
Bears more weight now, than when I first posted it...

No. We. Wouldn't.
There are still shards of the original civilization left. Even in the Dark Ages IRL people still had tiny fragments of the advances that the Romans made.
Plus, the differense is a universe run by the Yahg vs a universe where humanity / Asari / Turians etc eventually recover (since the species are still alive) and then fight the Yahg

Not really, since everybody else is dead.
