I want to trust them. The experience has been amazing thus far. But the thing is, trust takes a long time to build, and can easily be destroyed. I have not found the announcements to date to be very encouraging, in terms of actually giving us real options. Sad to say, I'm not holding my breath.

BioWare had my trust. Implicitly - they earned it with over a decade of some of the best games I've ever played. Then they lost it with the ending to the Mass Effect franchise, that was written by a kindergartner high on acid who'd just watched Matrix & Inception back to back.

My trust is theirs to earn back.

People trusted BioWare when they bought the game thinking that they would get what was advertised.

Why?

Bioware is a company and has to work for the best return for its owner. It would be irresponsible of it to spend money on non-revenue generating changes to a game unless it can demonstrate such a change is in the company's best interest.

It is in the fanbase's best interest to make certain Bioware understands it is in its best interest to correct the situation.

No. Not until they've earned it back.

Oh please, they are listening and they don't even have to. This whole thing will figure itself out, there is no reason to act like children. They are working on it and are doing more than most companies would for their fans, of course this is not even good enough for some people, but the truth is you can't fault the creator of a story for concluding it a certain way. Now you fault them for not responding in a way you like.
Like OP said, trust them.

ME2 was ok in my book, but nothing since has lived upto expectation, for differing reasons..

So no, for most of the quoted reasons.

Earn my trust again...

I stood up for Bioware many, many times. Especially during the DA2 fiasco. I tried to stay neutral and calm over the endings, plotholes and mistakes they have made regarding ME3 and waited for them to address them. Instead, they completely ignore issues and hide behind artistic integrity. They offer bandaids instead of cures. I rarely trust any corporate entity, but they did have my support. I can no longer offer that. It saddens me, but it is what it is.

Not a student of history OP?

BW has been contradicting their own ME Universe mythos since ME2. Arrival was a joke (relays can survive super novas but not a big rock?), ME2 ps3 was an unfinished mess, DA 2 was essentially a tech demo for a last gen engine, and now ME3 is here with the most bombastically illogical conclusion in the history of media.

People can justify it all they want, BW doesn't care about what you want, just how much effort it will take to keep you opening your wallets. Right now, doing nothing and doing something are appearing quite even to them. Tip the scales. Hold the LINE.

I trusted Bioware when they released Dragon Age 2

I trusted Bioware when they released SW:TOR

And I half-trusted Bioware when i rented Mass Effect 3

Sorry, but my trust has just about run out.

its clear that they are afraid to say much. considering that the CO posted that they are looking into expanding the endings. however no word as if that will be free. also it doesn't say that the ending we got are nothing more then Indoctrination theory. There for the ending we did get are TRUE to what Bioware wanted in the game.. i wonder ...

IDK if I should trust them. They lie a lot. Ever play TOR? Every patch note is a lie. Not to mention the ME3 ending.
