Where's a GIF of that guy eating popcorn when you need it?

Edit: ah, here we go:

Look, I'm a guy. And I take Martial Arts. I've taken Tae-Kwan-Do, Kano Juijitsu, Karate, Judo and Aikido. When it comes down to it, Men are Naturally stronger. HOWEVER There are plenty of girls that are tough as all hell. Nature made guys naturally physically more imposing, yes. But once you get to get advanced training involved Nature favoring guys in a fight is only a slight curve.

Agreed.  I'm a 5'0" female who has taken Tae Kwon Do and Hapkido.  One of my sparing partners was a guy who was 6'3" and weighed 220 lbs.  I used to throw him over the top of my head.  It's about technique.  Because I'm a small female, I have a disadvantage, and if I didn't nail my technique right, then I would fail to throw him.  However, in the end, I had much cleaner technique than he did because he could brute force.

I'm not  a meek little anime cutesy girl, and neither is femShep.

The only problem I have with femshep being identical is when she's sparring with vega. No way in hell that a girl (or any one the size of femshep) would have been able to fight vega the way she did. It was strength vs strength, no technique what so ever.

You've never read the flavor texts on the upgrades in ME2, have you?  Shepard, even leaving aside the Lazarus enhancements, is a freaking cyborg.  Unbreakable bones, enhanced muscles, near bulletproof skin, etc.

You've also apparently never seen a sparing session in a martial arts class.

Not only did I see sparring session, I practice it alot. Not sure what your point is but I would like to hear it.

And now that you point that out, I just re-watched this whole sequence and yeah I would like to retract on what I said. This scene make no sense what so ever even if you're broshep.

I agree! But I have to add, there shouldn't be femshep at all. Women are inferior.

Hoooray, feeding more to the gendered stereotype that a woman can't accomplish anything without using seduction! Shoo OP, your mindsight annoys me greatly.

No, I'm just saying that a woman in such a difficult situation would be at a disadvantage and would have to resort to every weapon at her disposal, including the tool of seduction to get her way.

OP are you for real? Tbh even in real life I'd be more inclined to go in there all guns blazing to get a result than use a dirty tactic like seduction, even if I thought seduction would work I certainly wouldn't bother using it.

Historically women have had to use their heads to win battles since they lack the physical prowess of men. So to present renegade female Shepard to be just as much of an intimidating badass as male Shepard requries a little bit too much suspension of disbelief.

Even in the future with genetic enhancements and what not, you cannot deny nature.

Lol sure there's "using your head" and then theres using your ****** 'n' arse. Using the latter would not be considered as using your head. I'd be seriously pissed off if fem Shep used her "assets" instead of her physical and mental skills to get the job done.

I honestly thought that scene would be much better for a male Shepard.

Because female Shepard is so much more badass.

Only difference between Male and FemShep needs to be the animations, and only then when they make sense (the infamous sitting down in a dress for example).

Disagree with you. FemShep is a strong female soldier not some twittering air headed moron that twirls her hair in her fingers to get what she wants. Seduction? Why should she do that when she can hold her own with a gun? No I disagree completely.

In addition. My Shepard wouldn't stoop so low. She's trained for combat, one of the best, people /should/ find her intimidating regardless of her gender.

I don't completely agree, but I do wish there were more instances of female Shepard doing things a bit differently. For example, when you start Garrus's recruitment in ME2 and the batarian mistakes her for a dancer, more moments like that would be very welcome.

As far as if she can physically compete with a male Shepard, the armor they use in ME gives anyone extra strength, mobility, etc. so there's no problem there whether she can or not.

"Oh but Kai...."

*Kai Leng pauses*

"We could be so good together" Shepard says as she flirtfully twirls her hair.  Then while Kai Leng is distracted your male love interest and jump in and shoot Kai Leng in the head.
That would've been more realistic I think.

Sooooo... when I'm confronting the argumentative Krogan on Tuchanka in ME2 I'm meant to take the Renegade trigger where my FemShep flashes her t*ts and hopes for the best? AMIRITE?
