Since the announcement that they have officially decided to tweak the ending due to fan feedback, I'm glad to see the forums have returned to normal.  Sort of.  Glad that is.

Because now, instead of a mostly unified front spending most of their effort trying to unify their voice and some of their effort trying to keep that voice civil...  it's basically just a crapshoot of people calling each other's opinions stupid, illogical arguments for and against defenses of various ideas appealing to subjects almost none of the posters have actually ever studied, and a ton of poor spelling, worse grammer, and sentences ending in prepositions.

Which basically, as far as I can tell, means we came, we saw, we conquered, we're out.  For you adults that remain in the forums, have fun.  I only came for the time we stood together and demanded we get that for which we were told we paid.  Since that's over, a great deal of civility and order has disappeared.  On that note, with the forums returning to the definition of normal for an internet community (choatic, confusing, and largely insulting) I bid those of you left who care a fond farewell.  I think most have left all ready, but the last few stragglers, like myself, should be proud of what they've done.

While we're gone, the rest of you should try and be a littler nicer to each other.

At least until Bioware announces what they're actually going to do. Even if they make some kind of additional ending related content, there will still be arguments by people who don't agree with it. If Bioware makes a new ending, it will simply be a new ending for people to fight over.

Not going anywhere.

They haven't announced anything.

Except we haven't won yet and they said nothing like 'we'll tweak the ending.' But if you're going to check out early, far be it from me or anyone else to stop you.

I really hope they do something about it. And not just say that they will.

I think a lot of people are just taking a break because there's nothing to do until BW announce what they're going to do... it's probably for the best. Spending too much time on any internet forum has GOT to be hazardous to your health.. heh.

All we know is that we get more information in April. Nothing else has been promised yet. Until then I will be holding that line. Civilly.

Seems pretty mellow today to me. I thought some people lost it after the announcement, descent into paranoia, name calling, generally chaos, rampant speculation, over analysis of inocuous statments, etc... but now it seems pretty chill.

Honestly nothing is "over" yet so I'd recommend holding the line until you have a "proper" DLC in your hands ...

  Since that's over,

Not over.  We don't have anything yet.

Besides that,  all that's been indicated is incoming "clarity and closure".  If that means a few extra lines of dialogue followed by a text-dump epilogue, only a scant few of us will be satisfied.

Continue holding the line.
