This is pretty much what I use as well.
Although I switch up the gun with Carnifex and Paladin depending on my mood...

EDIT: And it is crazy playing with 3 other adepts of different kinds, heavy pistol fire and biotic explosions nonstop!

Human Engineer (6,6,6,6,0) spec-ed for maximum CC, with an Avenger X, Predator X, AP/capacity/damage mods as I feel as I need them.

I have mediocre aim so I don't like precision weapons. Use cryo ammo when I feel like it, which works well with the assault rifles. I can usually cover a whole flank by myself until the top level enemies push me back.

Prefer to run on a team with another engineer to Tech Burst with, and another drone/decoy/turret is always fun.

Sentinels are pretty versatile by themselves but with those two weapons, there is no situation I cannot handle.

I max out throw instead of warp because my weapons are my primary damage and throw is amazing at staggering.

Pretty much this, except my take is to carry a Phalanx (primary weapon) and a Tempest because I can and still be at 200%.

Krogan Sentinel with Mattock I with AR Stability Damper & AR Magazine Upgrade, atm he's 5/5/0/5/6. But I love my Asari Adept who rolls the Arc Pistol with Pistol Magazine & Pistol High-Caliber Barrel with a 6/6/1/6/3 atm.

Few infiltrators are as good at getting in and out of enemy lines as Desma, quietly attaching sticky grenades to high priority targets , picking off vulnerable targets while there taking cover from team mates or grabbing nemesis/marauders for easy kills creates havok along enemy positions that would make a krogan warlord proud.

I love my Salarian Engineer. Energy Drain (radius, drain, recharge), Decoy (duration, shock, durability), with Incinerate (damage, burning), STG Operative (damage, power damage, weapon damage), Fitness is left at 3. I love this build so much, energy draining a phantom and then popping that lovely headshot is so deliciously satisfying. I use primarily a Mantix X with Armor Piercing Mod and Extended Barrel to make sure I can slay Brutes anything else that comes my way. I'm evil against all synthetics. Going against gold with Geth is like an ice cream treat for me.

For giggles, I use my Krogan Sentinel with Claymore (shredder, blade) and maybe a sniper/assault if I think I need it, and just go on a melee spree. Out of my 75 kills medal, I pulled a 50 melee kill medal...yea it was fun

I've played enough different characters that I don't have one "primary" character. But my favorite has to be my Salarian Infiltrator with a Mantis (damage & penetration mod) and an N7 Eagle (clip & damage mod).

Salarian Infiltrator, 6/6/6/0, N7 Valiant with thermal clip and damage mod. I'll may switch to the Black Widow -- if it ever unlocks for me.

I also like all the engineer variants. If I could unlock the Asari adept, though, I'd probably be spending a lot of time with her instead

My asari vanguard spec'd for weapon damage. I can't recall the exact build, but its something like 6/6/3/6/5. I usually carry around my Scimitar V for fast shots after bio-charge, and I use stasis bubble for defending chokes and catching those surprise enemies that camp around corners.
