There are several fan art pics made of Tali's face, nearly all better than what we got.

I dunno. With Tali's bone structure I almost expect a more feline/reptilian appearance. Well. As close to it as "alien" gets.

What i dont get is why they didn't just show her face.....according to the 6 and a half minute photoshop they gave you she apparently looks human...ish, so we know what she looks like....don't know why they couldnt put the extra effort to just render her face and put it in.

But noooo, they'd rather put all that effort in to Diana allers or whoever that **** was.

Perhaps so, but still. The thing is that since her voice sounds so human, she should have a similar human phisiology. By that im refering to the lips, tongue etc..

Needs more purple. But that's pretty hot.

That's pretty much Tali's face from the game, just rendered in a way that includes her suit. Definitely would have been better for BioWare to go this route.

Notice that in this picture, her skin isnt humanish. It seems to be made up of tiny...umm...scales for lack of a better word. Look at her forehead.

At least it's purely custom and not some photoshop.

Bit too much like a human for me, but still a nice pic. Thanks for sharing OP.

I actually wanted her face to look like the predators, see if Tali romancers could handle that and accept her for who she is.

I think Bioware created a deep, interesting, and all around amazing character when they came up with her for Mass Effect and developed her so well in both Mass Effect 2 and 3.

I know we wish we coulda seen Tali's face in regular gameplay instead of just the picture but I think we owe it to Bioware as a fanbase after everything that's happened recently to at least not gripe about the face hey picked for her.

They create the characters and have the right to decide what they look like. The artist is very talented though. It is an impressive rendering and Bioware surley appreciates their tribute to Tali.

Sorry but I always hoped she was a bug eyed squid monster from the swamps of doom just to put to the test everyone's "I didn't pick her for her looks, I chose her because of whats inside her heart and her personality!" I also have to admit taking some (slight) pleasure in the fact everyone kept throwing around the placeholder argument to defend making her look human whenever I made the bug eyed monster preference known. It amused me that they got a placeholder face where they once championed a placeholder image to prove their point. Though i admit that it is a bit mean of me but I won't lie it made me laugh just a little. Going with my bug eyed monster doesn't seem such like bad idea now eh?

Like I've said, the design is fine, but the presentation was kind of a pissup.

How hard do you think it would be to mod this into the game?

I don't think they did tali's face bad...I just think it wouldn't have hurt to give an actual scene over a picture....let alone a picture that made her look like poison ivy from batman. But regardless nothing we can really do about it now. I guess the Liara fans trump us sadly...I didn't even like Liara half as much as Tali though...

I have always been very surprised that with all those great artists in their art department, they didn't went with a drawn or rendered face. Even if they liked the look of the model in the picture, using it like this fan artist did to better fit Tali is already tons better.

They should have just given us all a "here is Tali's face and she's smiling" moment when you retook the home world. It's not a bad thing to give people what they want. Especially if you already made them sad by loosing Legion.

Witholding information that Shepard does have (how Tali's face looks) only serves to disconnect the player from Shepard. That's not a positive thing.

Consider yourself lucky.

Both Liara and Tali got more preferential treatment than Kasumi who I wanted to be my LI.

This sorta looks to me like the human girl with white eyes and some cybernetics you get in game anyway if you romance her as I understand it. Honestly I thought she would look more Turian than anything. They seemed to have similiar hands, feet, calf spikes etc. Her eyes always seems catlike in a vague sense also.

Too sexy... her face should represent something more innocent or vulnerable.

EDIT... the eyes look right though.

Ahh, this is a detail I missed. I thought it was glare from the lights on my computer screen. Good catch.

No one has answered this, and I'd rather not go in and disturb the Tali thread, but does anyone know where the photo originated, including the photographer/organization that provided it?

I never romanced Tali (felt she was too young and naive for Shepard, but I understand why people are upset.
