Too human? Nah. Asari look too human imo. Put a wig on them and toss on some paint and you couldnt tell the difference.
Three fingers and threee toes? Thats way more alien that Asari tenticle hair

I think Tali should look more avian or reptilian, especially with those chicken feet. I also think the reveal should have been on Rannoch, and not on some cork-board photo. It would have been a nice emotional juxtaposition to Mordin's death on Tuchanka.

And since I've mentioned it... who else loves hearing Martin Sheen say, "Tuchanka?"

I was curious at first how she would look, then I saw the Pic and was kinda disappointed. Not that its a bad picture, but rather that everyone had an image in his head how Quarians look like. Everyone imagined her to be be perfect in the way they like. Now we have something and all the fun of guessing, imagining and pretending how she looks is gone. I would have prefered if we just got some clues how a quarian looks or see a different quarian without his mask. Like in the Geth-server mission. You see a quarian without his suit and thats it. (remember shepard did indeed saw a Quarian without his suit, if he romanced Tali that is. Another plot-hole right there.)

No man, the reality is that with a voice like Tali's could no possible have reptilian apperances. She would need human like lips to be able to communicate so clearly.

Anyone notice how the Quarians are depicted like traditional gypsies? In that vein, I think the OPs pic is kinda spot on. Maybe a more "exotic" gypsy stereotype with more alien elements would embellish the illusion.

BTW, the pic is ART. Enjoyed it & my 2 credits is constructive criticism.

BioWare has already said they intended Quarians to look very human. They followed a very similar evolutionary pattern as us. Therefore, I think the artwork is pretty decent.

This artist created this image with the inspiration of the actual one we got ingame. He too tought it was a horrible
picture and a bad design, so he tried to improve on it. And its hardly a rip of Kasumi, only think that is remotely similar to Kasumi would the the small bit of hair...

*Nods in agreeance.* And with all these new characters, I find it very lazy that Tali couldn't get one cut-scene with her face. She can keep the mask on for the rest of the game. At the very least, if you romanced Tali in ME2, you should see her face. We were owed that much.

Nah, in all seriousness, a lot of the fan art seems better than what people got. It's such a shame, too...I didn't romance her, but I really feel awful for the people who did and got the picture

Artists use stock photos for reference all the time. I have no problem with this. Tali's photo is nice at first glance, but the problem is the when you look closer, the crudeness of the PS becomes too obvious.
