Well this is my first time around playing Dragon age.. So i'm at the castle atm i kill everyone in Redcliffe village, and outside in the castle countyard.. So i'm trying to get into the castle and anything and everything i try to do aint working.. It doesnt even show me dat i'm able to click on the door of the castle. So anyone mind helping me out with this problem? i'm ready to finish this already XD. P.s sorry if this in the wronng thread

once everything is a dead a npc should come out and talk to you

well i kill everything in the village and inside the castle courtyard, i waited 2hours for a npc to come talk to me and nothing, i shut down my ps3 and try again still nothing. It just wont let me go in the door.. i'm getting lil P off atm =/

I'm having a similar problem with the DLC for Warden's Keep. I'm stuck inside the keep and it won't let me out now =/ I can only imagine what you're going through since I'm close to beating the game myself. I'd HATE to have to go back through the game in its entirety before I actually want to.

ugh.. Anyone know how to fix the this glitch >< getting tried of not enterin the castle. i kill everything in the village and outside in the courtyard. I kill both the first and second wave of the darkspawn and i'm not able to click on the castle door to enter it (ps Larry L i think you talking about the mission which the arl is still sick and etc)

Well you should go to the redcliff ending and eventually bann teagan will tell you that there is a secret passage inside the castle. You dont get in through the front gates. If combat music is playing then there are still things to kill. If its daytime again everything should be fine.

I've had a few tries where the final part of the redcliff wave (the ogre) doesn't come until I walk back down the stairs and part way back to the castle gate. After the ogre, the guard was willing to talk to me and let me inside the castle gate. Honestly I've never had a run through were at least 1 of the guards didn't survive, so not sure if that would affect your ability to continue?

well none of the guard survive for me. and i didnt see any ogre when i fought the first and the second wave. and i waited and waited there for a while and nothing show up or anything

If you're not seeing the ogre, maybe walk back toward the castle gates. Might trigger him.

aight ya i was lookin over screenshots on the final battle in redcliffe ya the Ogre isnt poping up for me i kill the first and second wave so i waited yet again to see if anything happens no Ogre show up >< anyone know how i can fix this glitch?

the Ogre triggered for me just moving in the courtyard, i circled back towards the gate from the left, and then while infront of the gate turned towards the stairs and that was when the Ogre triggered for me. lik he needed me to show my back to him.

Wow, thats really bad luck mate, I've played through three times and haven't had a problem. The ogre has been delayed for me before though. (As in, he doesn't show up for like 1-3 minutes, then suddenly appears) Do you have another save that you can use thats not too terribly far behind? If so, I'd suggest fighting up to that point. If your only other save is like hours behind the point you're in.....you may either have to suck it up and start from there, or pray that they release a fix for this someday =\\.

Ouch, yeah that sucks, I imagine your autosave was at the start of that battle too right? Well, hopefully it wont happen to you again lol. Good luck!

im having this problem now except i dont have any saves from before this glitch, can someone please heklp me ive email bioware, ea and they dont have any answers either saying its a gameplay problem when in fact i think there game is messed up

exactly the same problem with me my friend its called bad luck have to start again if you cant get the next wave to come.

UGH I had the same issue and my last save is a long time away. This game is very glitchy and if Bioware knows that, they shouldn't put in a contingent with the npcs that keeps you from proceeding. The ogre never spawned for me and I definately do not want to redo hours of the game. This is absolute BS and should be fixed.

ya the same thing hapend to me i tried doing other quests hoping it work but no luck iv circled all around redcliff tried looting all the corpses but nothin works i think i killed an ogre cuz theres a huge bloodstain on the floor

Sucks! I wanted Loghain part of my party, and now the ogre won't spawn. I have a save halfway through the darkspawn waves, but he will not pop. When I ran through with my alternate save with Allister, it worked fine. Stupid! Now no Loghain in the final battle : ( This is on the Xbox btw)
