Dont split the fanbase again, If hawke is getting a cameo in DA3 I really hope DA1 fans will have a warden cameo, All you have to do is have the warden wear full warden armor with a helm and shape his body the size of an Dwarf/elf/human.

I know some DA2 fans will say the wardens story is over if he died but if you went with morrigan or got her book at the end of witch hunt dlc then its clear theres another story going on for the warden.

My Warden wore the Legion of the Dead armor from the moment she got it in the Deep Roads to the end of Awakening. Seeing her in anything else would be a deep insult to my vision of the character and absolutely unacceptable.

Nonsense, All our wardens have their own armor, But when he would need to address people he would wear his warden commander armor from awakening so people could identify who he is. If your in the army you dont change out of your uniform in a battle.

And my Warden does not want to be a Warden so seeing her in Warden armor would be absolutely unacceptable.

Seriously though, I'm not really interested in seeing cameos of characters I used to play.

Its not just about cameos. It a plot hole if morrigan turns up without the warden. If you went with her in witch hunt dlc.

My Warden was never all that keen on the whole "being a warden" thing.

Anyway, as Warden Commander (not to mention Queen) she's free to define whatever the hell she wants to wear as her uniform.

More seriously, I'd really rather not have a cameo. I mean it wouldn't be super offensive if they just stood there doing nothing, but as soon as they start, y'know, saying or doing anything I'm likely to start having a problem,

Sorry but theres alot more DA1 fans than DA2 so your in the minority. they are giving hawke a cameo. The warden should get one as well or they are just going to split the fanbase again.

Hawke is not getting a cameo. That doesn't even make sense and I don't anyone ever said that s/he would be.

That's assuming a lot of things about how we see our personal Wardens. My canon one wouldn't be caught in massive armor with full helmet if his life depended on it and considers his Dalishness more important than his Wardenness. That would not only put him in an outift he wouldn't and couldn't wear (poor roguish thing would be nailed on the spot by gravity alone), but flat out erase his characterization.

What would be the point of the cameo, then?

If the cameo has to be that quick and dirty, and the majority being what counts, you might as well go with a male Cousland warrior and call it a night.

And what about mages?

(PS: There is no Warden Commander armor in Awakening ;) )

Link?  I've been through that 113 page thread, and saw no indication that Hawke would ever be seen in game again.

Sorry sutkh but its cannon that the warden has to be a warden. if your character didnt want to be a warden then awakening wouldnt of happend. I suggest you kill yourself at the end of origins if u dont want to see the warden again. thanks.

I read Sutekh's post as being about the armor, not about the status of Warden. As in, the Warden need not, and may not care to, wear the trappings of the position - and thus, a generic-looking, helmeted Warden may not work for all players.

Um, nowhere in any of those posts does it state that Hawke is getting a cameo in The Next Thing. It said they would try to bring some closure to the events Hawke started, but that Hawke herself was over. No cameos were involved.

Especially the mage ones.

Only in DA2 did Wardens have an official armor, including mages (worm by Warden Bethany). The Warden Commander Armor set from DAO/Warden's Keep DLC was seen being worn by Sophia Dryden and only her in the flashbacks and by her ghoulish self in the present, and you can aquire it for yourself as loot during the DLC. All of the rest of the Wardens in the Warden's Keep DLC, and the others that you see elsewhere (DAA) are all wearing light mail or leather armor of various appereances. There was no established Warden uniform until DA2 came along.

If you are going to use something as proof of your assertion, then you prove it by linking or quoting the source. If it was so easy to find, then you find it and link it. Otherwise it's just a baseless claim. We don't have to do anything, you are the one making the claim. That's how citing a source works.

Clearly you guys didnt read the posts by david gaider and mark. Also If they dont do a warden cameo you just know the immature fans would complain and rate the game 0 on metacritic. They arnt on forums because DA3 being made isnt world spread news yet.
