Well I’m sure EA higher up’s are making BW employees lives a living hell for this sh** storm especially when they want to sell us paid DLC and their new movie .So take comfort where you can find it .
While I do not usually get pleasure out of others having their lives a living hell, in this case you are quite correct that EA is most likely angry at this whole event. It could have been avoided relatively easily but there is still a glimmer of hope in the fact that they COULD rectify this whole thing with one DLC. Unfortunately the chances are slim at this point because of the "extended cut" dlc that most likely won't change much(we will see though).
Also this thread deserves a bump

Was really hoping at least some of these would be adressed at PAX, but nope, they asked questions about facial expressions and Tali/Garrus romance...
Dude they were all planted by Bioware to ask those questions. They want to gloss it over and pretend all these lies never occured by scewing the focus over to things as mudane as those....
I also think some of the people calling the Retake movement "whiny" should take a long hard look at those quotes, and then decide if we are really so unreasonable as to claim "we have been miss sold the game"

You know, it won't be long before this thread gets locked. Bioware has gone on a locking spree, closing down threads that point out their mistakes.
So... yeah.
You clearly read all of the posts in this thread including the second one informing people to keep on topic, civil and to further the thread so it doesn't get locked. Woops!
I don't think it's fair to lock any threads like this. If BioWare didn't want this discussed then they shouldn't have made these false claims.

Same, but I doubt it. PAX was pretty much the last chance to adress them directly, afaik
Someone could try Twitter, but I don't see it being all that useful

I think this is probably one of the worst. Its almost like they were advertising a different game entirely. There was no "final battle with the reapers". You got a very short cutscene with random ships as the "final battle". Very misleading. I preordered the CE because of promises like this.

They didn't slightly exaggerate and just give us really weak scenes or endings. They flat out lied and didn't do anything they said. Things weren't true even the slightest.

Don't hold your breath. They're just going to ignore it until it goes away. The most we'll probably get out of them is 'you guys are misconstruing what we said'. Perhaps they're planning to release 'The Developer Quotes: Extended Cut' to try and 'clarify' what they said. After all, even these lies must fall under the 'artistic integrity' jurisdiction right?x-Killision-X wrote...
