I got it. What makes it funny is if you read The Calling, played Awakening and played the entire Mass Effect series.Raelius Archmannon wrote...

Well even though these are fake i must say we couldnt become an archedemon even if we wanted to since we was never an old god. We could become a god i guess and the be corrupted? But that sound so stupid.
And make everyone into a darkspawn but you get to keep who you actually are. Well isnt that just the orginal race before the coruption?
Wtih spa..ehm blood magic ,my dear friend, everything is possible. Everything.

You forgot to add that the colors will be yellow, purple, and orange.
And the part where some talking darkspawn tries to warn you to stop before you behead him or something.

Not everyone plays both games you know. I only got it because, although I have never played a ME game, I've read a bunch about the controversy surrounding the endings, and of course it's hard to escape it on other gaming sites I visit.Raelius Archmannon wrote...

One inherent benefit of Dragon Age III is that it's not being advertised as a conclusion to a trilogy, so speculation actually is a valid way to end a game (I think the problem is when speculation is added for speculations sake, and not as a side effect of having written a coherent conclusion).

I really, really hope so. Regardless, I won't be pre-ordering DA3. I've learned my lesson. I'll wait until player reviews come out from people who actually finished the game.Korusus wrote...
I endorse this. Sometimes humor is the best strategy for addressing genuine issues. DG already mentioned that the Dragon Age team is keeping an eye on the ME3 ending problem. If nothing else good comes of the crisis, at the very least may it have a positive influence on how DA's writers approach the endings.
What's really sad though, is that a lot of people thought the ending of DA2 and the fallout surrounding it would influence ME3 in a positive way. Instead, we got something far bleaker.

At the end, Sandals, the being of light, will shout his loudest "ENCHANTMENT" ever with such force that it will travel across time and space to power up the Crucible! That's what Joker and the Normandy were fleeing: that overwhelmingly powerful one word that travels across the vacuum of the void via space magic!!
BRILLIANT!!!!

Me and a friend managed to put our hands on an early draft of DA3's endings*.
[SPOILERS BEGIN HERE]
It appears that the player will be confronted by a "being of light", which will give him three options:
1. destroy all the remaining archdemons (does that imply that they all wake up together?), all darkspawn and everyone tainted by their corruption (as far as I know, ghouls and grey wardens).
2. infect everyone with the darkspawn corruption, while safeguarding their intelligence, effectively creating a new race (and I guess wiping out the existing ones?).
3. become an archdemon himself and control all the darkspawn (thus ending their threat, or conquering the world I guess).
[SPOILERS END HERE]
Discuss!
*or not.
Your forgot to mention the bit where Alistair, Sten, Merril and Morrigan all phase into existence aboard a ship racing across the Waking Sea, and after you make your choice, a storm appears and rips up the ship's sails, causing it to beach onto a verdant island. Alistar and Morrigan walk out together, stare at the bright blue sky, and hold hands.
Then you see Varric talking to some little bugger and telling him how all of this was a story he made up.

I love it! Just like the prime time soap opera "Dallas" from the '80s. That show got worse and worse and the whole "it was just a dream" put a nail in its coffin too!
