If Bioware corrects the ending, how would you feel about the whole thing?

If they man up to their mistake, my respect for and faith in the company would begin to return. In time, I'd get over it. I'd look back and see a company who cares enough about its fans to make sure they loved every second of playtime as much as they enjoyed developing it. I might even buy DA3.

In my opinion Bioware, I realized you tried something new. I get that. New things is what keeps the game industry rolling. But you failed in trying to please the players. Please, DO NOT do this again. For your sake, I hope you consider this.

To be honest I'd rather they just claim responsibility for the current ending. Something along the lines of "We realize we let our fans down and did not live up to their expectations, we would like to apologize for that". In the end, it's their game, their creation, we just choose to pay to play it. Changing the ending via DLC would be a kind of a cheap move, regardless whether the fans want it or not.
If it can be corrected seamlessly and improved, then I'd download it. If they charge me, then it'd better be packed with a host of other non ending goodies like new weapons, armor, mission, map, and maybe a bonus batarian squadmate. That way, I'd be ok with paying since I'll kinda trick my brain into thinking that I'm really only paying for stuff I'd buy anyway.

They shouldn't dumb their game down for the masses.
I think they already did.

As long as they can fill in the blanks I would feel better about the endings.

Alot better.
They could've just ignored us and waited until we eventually gave up, the fact they have confirmed they're going to do something about the ending makes me respect them more.
It'll take time until it comes out though but I'm putting my faith in them, they sure have the talent available to end this on a high note.
^ Agreed. I know Bioware can do better, and I bet they will. If they fix the endings (maybe add a happy one? please

If a founder comes and says they'll make it right then I can't help but think it WILL happen. He doesn't want egg on his face for making promises that aren't kept. Bosses don't stick their necks out to get chopped

I will be disappointed that it wasn't released with the game, but pleased that they were able to fix it. I will still be wary of them due to the current endings though.

Probably file another positive mental note about bioware, enjoy the ending, and be just as devoted if not more so to bioware than i was before.
Exactly. I'm not the only one. They REALLY hosed it, but still, more companies that really hose things don't spend their money to fix them unless forced to.

We were promised a diversity of endings, we didn't get that. We were promised our choices would matter, we didn't feel that. We were promised many things and none of them delivered in a satisfactory way.
We want those promises fulfilled. We deserve the ending we fought for to *mean* something, something on an emotional and intellectual level. Not "Lots of speculation." This series began as a concrete story, not an artsy statement on futility. Give me the ending I fought for, please.

Mass effect 3 was nothing but dumbed down.
I sorta liked it, but Mass effect 1 had the right idea.
Changing a dumb plot back to the original plot which made the game mysterious for mass effect 1 and 2 isn't dumbing down.

I sure hope he does not.
Side note: has Deception been fixed or were they lying about that?

Would I personally like to see more involvement from the Rachni? Maybe from other races too? You bet. But things like that are acceptable. The current plotholes and strange thematic jumps of the current ending are what pushed me over the edge.
