I don't want to talk about the endings anymore because I'm tired (and there are other things that were interesting), but I do want to talk about the potential future that we have been given and what we could see in a future game (if Bioware ever decides they want to do it).

On Surkesh, you discovered that the Salarians are playing with fire again, this time in the form of Yahg.  Big scary clever monsters that they are, the Salarian referred to them as viable for political espionage and were planning to uplift.  Did anyone do an implied face palm here.   When I heard this I was like, um yeah, someone hasn't learned from their mistakes at all.

So like yeah.  About them Yahg.  Are we gonna have a Yahg Empire?  A Yahg Rebellion?  A Yahg Super Bowl?  How will this mix with the Krogan (cured genophage or no)?  What's gonna happen???

The Rachni can use their buildy scienceness to make big ass guns for the Krogan.
They'll smoke the Salarian uplift teams en-masse.

In case you haven't noticed, one of the main themes of Mass Effect is that the galaxy is full of jerks.

EDITED to add: I'm being absolutely serious.

Reapers: Jerks
Asari manipulating galactic politics to give themselves technological advantage: Jerks
Rachni conquering the galaxy: Jerks
Salarians doing uplifts: Jerks
Krogans taking over the galaxy after killing Rachni: Jerks
Turians deploying genophages: Jerks
Quarians creating then failing to wipe out Geth: Jerks

They're definitely playing with fire this time, since they're made out to be as smart as a Salarian, strong as a Krogan, and brutish as a Vorcha.

Alright alright, If I'm not wrong, the Yahg are pretty much ignored by the Reaper forces, so no much damage that would cause. In the suppose that civilization isn't wiped out nor doomed, and in the even more happy wishful supposition that Shepard survives, they -could- become a problem, but, the Salarians aren't all that stupid. I think in any case, they'd underestimate the yahg and even if completely uplifting them wasn't their intention, they'd rebel against the Salarians and take the technology. Causing some sort of spread of yahgs.

If we were to be give some content with it, I'd like to see some sort of hideout in a remote planet where they built an network infrastructure and are gathering data on how to build X or Y and you have to stop them before they actually manage to threat anyone.
