Morrigan... she's a bit of a b*tch, but I do love the wry smile she has when you lean forward to kiss her.

He unmasked my inner identity, thus allowing me to embark on a ruminative epoch to ascertain if life reflects some kind of metaphysical allegory of the existential hyponym.

Shale probably is, his/her/its personality is fun and I like her invulnerable attitude.
Alistair is too whiney/goody goody, although not awful.
Morrigan is kind of a b-i-t-c-you know what.
Leliana just never got me into her, and when she sang at me, I kind of wanted to hide.
Sten I admit I haven't gotten to know about, maybe I will like him but he's so rude so far.
Dog is great but not a person. I do like the dog though.
Zevran is funny but also sleezy and not very noble.
Wynne is too much of a stick in the mud and geezer like, although I like her.
I also haven't played with Loghain yet, but I don't think he gets much chance to 'interact'.

Leliana started out as kind of annoying, but I grew to like her quite a lot over time. The discussion about shoes was hilarious.
Oghren had some of the funniest dialogue, but I didn't ever hear much banter between him and the rest of my group which was kind of disappointing.
Dog (Buddy) is really great. I about died laughing when he brought me a little boy as a gift.

My favorite is Oghren. I'm not a fan of the drunken blitherer type of character, but Oghren had me laughing many a time. He has a strange charming bumble to him that makes the amusing things he says damn funny.
I also have an RL crush on Leliana. /shame

I used to like Alistair, but then I realised how much of a little beeyotch he was.
Leliana just has an irritating voice and is way too saccharine for my taste.
Morrigan and Wynne follow well established archetypes and therefore aren't too interesting; you know what they'll be like from the beginning.
Sten, Shale, Oghren and Dog are great for a laugh; they really nailed these characters. Thought they coulda done more with dog, but his animations and real dog sounds are good
Zev... yeah, no comment.

Wynne is pretty great. I also love how pretty much every male character hits on her or offers to sleep with her.
Leliana I initially hated but got to know her a bit better and decided I liked her. Waiting for my human noble and her to lady love it up ;-)
Zevran seems to lack depth, but I haven't actually run with him yet.
I really liked Morrigan. I felt she was an interesting character. I wanted to give he a hug at some points, but she would have probably turned me into a toad or something.
Sten I don't know much about, I haven't run with him yet :-(
Dog was funny, but more of a "yeay its a dog"
Alistair is up there. He was funny. I liked him as a paladin type - not all self righteous and irritating. More cute and puppy like.

Oh, yeah, why. Because I love her redemption arc, her voice, her stories about Orlais, her romantic dialogues, and, uh...everything?

But Duncan wins the 'Awesome character of Dragon Age' for me.

But, if I had to choose - Alistair/Zevran - and no, I really can not choose between those - depends upon if I am playing my human noble or my city elf... Thanks Bioware for giving we girl gamers such delectable options.

Sten - I have a soft spot for honorable stoic types trying to regain their honor. And he's the only character who isn't fooled by the Sloth demon.
Wynne - Mom!
Zevran - anyone who can joke like that with my knife at their throat is ok by me
Dog - funny, smart and 100% completely loyal.
Riordan and Duncan, more or less equally, for being badasses.

Sten is awesome though, as is Wynne. Both in their own ways are very mature and possess very deep wisdom and self-awareness, two qualities I highly admire in people in the real world.
And of course Schopenhauer (Dog) goes without saying. Man's best friend, quite literally.

I also like Sten and Wynne.
I have a major dislike for Alistair. He is just a whiny emokid, and when I first played the game I was sure that he is a retard. >.>"
Leliana sometimes gets on my nerves with her whole chantry-****, and she's bard, redhead, has a french-accent, practically she is everything I hate. Although I have to admit she has cute moments, but most of the time she's staying in the camp. Have fun with Alistair, girl.
Now, Morrigan is completely neutral for me. I'll never understand the Morrigan-fans (as I cannot understand the Alistar-fangirls, and they're f*cking creepy<_< ), I simply fail to see what's so amazing in her. ._.
Oghren... Ahem. Awesome.
I also like Bann Teagan, Tamlen and Loghain

I'm disappointed that most people here can't seem to get to know Sten. I mean, I'll be honest, getting to know him was the hard part, but after a while he starts to build on you.
Anyway, Lohgain does get to interact quite a lot. The problem is that it's hard to get him to talk after a certain point. A good thing to do is to give him all the right gifts. Other than that, I wish BioWare would've given him a personal quest.
