Since im probably the only person still playing the game im not expecting many answers, but im still hopeful. And despite the ending this is my third playthrough. But lets stay on topic here:

Im on rannoch, I saved koris. But i've been thinking if i destroy the geth server before the rewrite, i wont have them later cause the quarians will have blown them up after i deactivate them.

So i was thinking what if i just went to the reaper base and allowed them to be AIs and save tali and all that jazz. The server will still be alive but on my side.

But will this cause lots of quarians to die while im on rannoch?

Has anyone tried this?

I believe the mission locks out after the Reaper base.

Do all non priority stuff first. That's the rule

I'm pretty sure once you do the reaper base you can't do any more of the missions on Rannoch, since peace will have been declared by either both sides deciding to be hippies, or one side deciding to be really dead.

You can't go to the server after you destroy the Reaper base. So do it if you want to do it before you destroy the base.

Doing reaper base first gets Tali killed if you choose to save the geth.

Yes, that is a bad idea.

But with making the geth good, that makes the server good, which is what i want. The fighter squadron attacking the fleets will stop and be on my side.

Err... it doesn't work that way, the server mission only makes 'some' of the Geth stop fighting as Heretics.

im not asking if i can do the mission after i destroy the base, thats the whole point of all this.
Can I save a server full of geth and a geth fighter squadron from deactivation if i don't do the mission and just skip to the reaper mission.
Do i get more geth War assets with the geth?

You are over thinking things; we'd all like our choices to matter but all we get is "side mission before priority mission = more war assets, else less war assets"

In any case, you get less Quarian war assets from that, since the fighters will have been attacking the Quarian fleet while you dealt with the Reaper base. You also lose out on the potential Geth Prime squad who defect to Legion's side after the mission for 60 points of Military Strength.

Non spoiler version: YES.  Do this mission.

Spoiler version:

If you didn't destroy the heretics, didn't settle things between Tali and Legion, or got Tali exiled, it is 100% critical you do this mission if you want peace options.  If not, then it doesn't matter.

Peace between Tali and Legion: +1
Tali not exiled: +2
Heretics destroyed: +2
ME3 Rannoch missions: +1 each.

You need 5 points to get peace.  If you do not, you won't be able to save both the geth and the quarians.

If this is a spoiler I apologize, but you asked.
