Could it be the Citadel related TMS points that you see happen during the game (like when you choose to allow/not allow the refugee and his family to dock IIRC; I know there are others like this, like siding with the gung-ho or scared citizen near the Elkos Combine terminal), but which I have never personally seen reflected in my war readiness console?Aganerral wrote...
2) Asset s, asset values, and/or the galactic readiness multiplier were added/removed/changed late in the process, and all relationships to those values weren't changed to account for it. Maybe at one point readiness was base 100%, or some assets were worth much more than they are in the final version. When this was changed, the ending trigger points were not updated. It's also possible that this was just a bug that changed values.

I have done two run throughs of the game and couldn't get close to 4000 EMS, think the closest I got was around 3300. Not a fan of the end anyway but then to realise that I can't even get all the endings is incredibly frustrating. So much so that I've registered on a game forum - something I've never done before to air my frustrations!

At least they are aware of the problem now, the question remains open if they do anything about it. Or was it intended move to lure people into MP / iOS apps.

And yeah I agree they are definetly trying to get people to play MP - but personally I think that should be my choice and not something that I am being forced into to access all parts of the game that I paid for! Especailly when we were told that MP would not affect the SP game.

The readiness level isn't tied into the coalesc file. However there is a local_prof.sav file available that puts your readiness at 100% and allows you to earn assets the legit way and not have to be forced into mp.

Really? Didn´t know about that.
In the coalesc file you can change the value of the War Assets themselves, so you could circumvent the GR with that as well!
But as I´ve come to realize, it doesn´t really matter if you have 4000+ or 5000+... Only if you take the destroy ending ofc, but that doesn´t mean it´s the best ending for every Shep out there...
I´m still pissed one can´t attain it though :/ (is it true even with having both the Krogan and the Salarian on your side? Don´t have the time to add all possible points up xD)

Hi CG Drum.
I also have the guide and have the upside-down page at the end of the main campaign which, as you say, says that all endings are possible for SP. I'm also relieved to se eI'm not the only one in this boat, after 108 hours and more, taking my Shepard through from ME1, and exploring every corner I can find of the galaxy, I only reached 3600ish.
It's the fact I can't actually attain that just-out-of-reach 4000 ending that really bugs me, when the guide says I should be able to.
I'm not into MP, just not my style of play I'm afraid, so Idon't want to be railroaded in that direction. I have no issue with it being included, I just don't want to play it.

It would be better for them to have other single-player options but this is really your only options other than multiplayer to boost your readiness. And at least the datapad app is free.
