Bollocks. Mr Abram could datamine his ME3's coalesced.bin file in less than an hour and it will confirm what we already know.
Assuming he actually knows to do that, and knows how to do it.
Just FYI... I sent Mr. Abram a google doc spreadsheet containing an exact copy of the war assets from the coalesced.bin file. (I sent it over a week ago)
He told me he would compare it to what they had at their office this week.... *shrug*
These signals we are getting are really at odds... they take down Jarret Lee's sticky, but keep saying that we can get 4000+ EMS with just single player? Why?

Hello Mr. Abram,
I hope you had a good holiday weekend and that things weren't too stressful this week getting back into the office!
I've been away for a bit myself, but noticed some new things regarding our
discussion about the maximum available EMS from multiplayer.
First, I see Jarret Lee's sticky was removed that said there were 'more' than
enough war assets for the best ending in SP alone (with no MP or iOS
apps).
This is a step in the right direction, however I further read some of your more recent posts on the forums.
In one, you closed a thread a day ago and said that the 4000+ EMS was possible in single player.
Can you please explain this?
Did you have a chance yet to look at the coalesced.bin file I linked to you via Google Docs?
We have datamined the game, as was mentioned before. When working out the
max total assets in the most ideal playthrough possible, it is not
currently possible to attain more than 8000 TMS, and thus you cannot get
4000 EMS without multiplayer or something else that raises your
galactic readiness.
This of course does not count the 'bonus'
1000 flat EMS you had mentioned you get for charming or intimidating TIM in that final scene.
That is why everyone says 4000 EMS.... because it seems you need 5000 EMS total to get the 'breath' scene.
Thus 4000+ EMS before the assault on the Cerberus Base. That's what people
are referring to, and currently it's not possible with the game that was shipped to the public.
I'm hoping you and others are still looking into this, but I found your more recent forum posts discouraging.
There are many of us that have investigated this issue, and not a single person has yet come forward with a possible solution. Even when examining the actual game files which list all possible war assets, there is no possible way that we can see.
I am sure that everyone who is affected by this issue would love to hear
some sort of public acknowledgement that there is a problem and that
EA/Bioware are working to resolve it.
If we are actually mistaken somehow? Then please enlighten us as to the exact ideal steps to
achieve the 'breath' ending without touching multiplayer or iOS apps.
Prove us wrong, because right now there are literally thousands of players (and likely many many more who don't post on the forums) that have not been able to achieve that ending without some method outside of JUST the
single player experience.
Thank you

One of them just past half way says 'Kill Xen'
I didn't know there was an option to kill Xen and i can't find anything that leads to that outcome.

Thanks for all the work you've put into this. It's been bugging me since I first starting playing ME 3. Looking at some of the posts, however, I believe many are still confusing TMS for EMS. I've bookmarked this thread. Interested to see if you get a response from Bioware.

I also sent Thomas Abram this: http://social.biowar...dex/10119654/4.
For those who haven't seen it - it's an excellent breakdown of assets. It doesn't come with any baggage (I.e. data mining which Abram seems to think is wrong (I think in both senses)) etc. and it proves our point well.
Either there's something NO ONE is finding or there's something wrong in the game. As the figures just don't add up. They also indicate that a BIG decision in ME1 could be critical - as otherwise you are always going to be REALLY short.
Abram has said he'd been sent it a lot!

I don't understand why this is still going on, if we are right admit it (or claim it's a bug) and fix it, if we are wrong prove it this whole thing could've been delt with in no time at all
You cannot get the best ending (Breathing scene) without multiplayer. Even if you could, you would have to do a perfect playthrough of all three games including every piece of DLC.
I have played the three games and done every single thing. But I've never downloaded and played any DLC. Result: I was screwed. Never got my ''best'' ending.

Who really cares? If 4000+ EMS bothers you that much just play some multiplayer.
Thanks for your wonderful contribution, now tell us how you really feel.
Here's a little reality check. Not everyone can play multiplayer.
Also, why should you be forced to play multiplayer to gain access to all single player content when they clearly said you don't?

"Who really cares?"
Most who have posted here and elsewhere on the forums, and anyone who understands the core issues at stake, which have been detailed many times already.

It amazes me how people who claim not care come here just to post things like this.... The threads i care nothing about get scrolled past....without a second thought.
