Yeah, if everybody stops to look at the date on that message, they'll see it was from mid-March.

So Brenon Holmes (an actual developer) acknowledged this a month ago, while Thomas Abram has continued to go around saying it's perfectly possible, and Mike Gamble has acted like he doesn't even know what it is.

Send it. If it's not criminal, it's at the very least despicable.

Point to the prerelease quote from Mike Gamble, stating that all "the same endings and same information" would be available through single-player alone, and point to the official FAQ where they continue to brazenly state that Galaxy at War only provides an alternative to advancement in the single-player game (when it is in fact a requisite in this case). You could also mention how they've continue to either lie about this or completely avoid addressing it (and how they've locked threads by simply stating that they're not lying, while in fact being actively engaged in deception).

And another thing. Not only did Thomas Abram keep saying that it is possible to get 4000+ EMS in SP, he locked down the thread talking about this issue as if it was all solved.

Shockingly easy, one small change, if the game guide is absolutely correct, then make the 1000  bonus available to all. The game guide clearly states that if 3 conditions are met (4000 war assets, plus the two other things) then we get the extra scene. That's the only tweak needed.

They know there's a problem. They removed the sticky for a reason.

I never complained about the fact that Mass Effect was going to receive a multiplayer mode. But I never imagined Bioware would restrict the singleplayer mode in order to get us to play MP or download certain apps. This is really a big deal to me. It's not that there aren't workarounds (modifying the save files), but for Bioware to promise something and then, when confronted with the fact that their claims are "innacurate". not to respond outside of PM's is just something that really makes me question their motives here. Especially for something that seems insanely easy to fix.

Kinda annoyed that this was confirmed a month ago (first I've seen it though) and we've been lied to (no other word for it) since then

a quick fix on some values or altering the percentage (or shock horror take it out!) and this all goes away sigh

I messaged Thomas Abrams again (very polietly) to ask why if this was know for this long how come we've been told otherwise since then, I'll let you guys/girls know if I get a reply

According to a PM I recieved from Mr. Abram, the sticky was not removed intentionally.
He blamed a "random server hiccup".

But it's one that they can so easily *fix*! That's what is annoying the most about this whole thing, it isn't an issue of "artistic integrety" it's a legitimant broken feature of the game that has been proven over and over by multiple posters. 

Bioware, fix your god damn game!
