It's odd. He was able to do it, but he needs to investigate? hm.
He claims there is no different version yet the assets clearly don't exist in our games.

The very least they could do (aside from acknowledging they made a mistake) is port the apps for Android and/or other platforms?! Or if they're too tied up with Apple contracts for that, then make equal but separate apps for other platforms.

BioWare, if it can be done, just tell us how! It's really that simple. Until you do, getting 4000 EMS in SP alone will remain nothing but total bulls***. Prove this 64 page topic wrong. TELL. US. HOW.

I think it's odd, too. Even though he said that there's no employee copy, it still seems possible that what he tested was an earlier copy, not the final retail version, and some things were cut before release.  Several people have asked him in this thread to just show us his files so that they can compare those with what datamining has showed. I don't quite understand why he can't do that. It would be faster than going through the whole game, especially if that would really take weeks...

I'm sorry, but no. Not everybody has a smartphone or an iPad. Everything should be unlockable inside the game in SP mode, just as they promised.

Still no reply from Bioware on this subject I see. Really, this is the sort of thing that will make me question the wisdom of buying future Bioware games, not the drama over the ending!
Ignoring this issue really makes it look like either A) they did it deliberately or they don't care about the fans enjoyment of the game.
I'm just happy that I'm a pc player and can use Gibbed to bump up the assets, sucks to be a PS3 player though ...

Honestly, Bioware. Regardless of scary the BSN looks right now, this is a valid concern and it should be addressed by you. You must admit it's a bit silly people need to share private messages to in order to make any sense of the situation, and what you might or might not be doing about it. I know the community doesn't have a lot of trust for you right now, but shutting it out is not the solution.

Totally agree with this - can't believe this thread is carrying on but Bioware still haven't commented on it.  Shocking disregard for the SP only players as far as I am concerned.

I personally think that multiplayer and single player should have not be overlapped they should of been separate. There is a lot evidence that proves that you cannot get 4000 points but we still don't have a PUBLIC response.

It would be trivial for them to show how it's done and show the asset list. They won't because it simply can't be done. Maybe they'll patch more assets in when they can be bothered releasing another patch.

Surely it shouldn't be that hard to fix. Just make the MP mode playable offline with bot teammates. It's not perfect, but fixes the issue for those with poor Internet connections and those like me with no XBox Gold.

either you are confusing Total Strength (the top number) with Effectitive (the bottom number the one that counts) or you have hacked your copy or are lying we've proved it isn't possible

I think if it weren't for the ending this would've got more attention. I feel betrayed by bioware. There are other game sites also investigating this problem. So far the combine efforts of the gamers from around the world are unable to reach 4000+ ems. Seriously! What in the world is going on with the mass effect team.

I'm at a loss as to what Bioware could lose by either replying to you or posting something official here - even just a confirmation it is actively being looked in to.  That's not an admission of fault or liability, just a simple acknowledgement that some of their customers, their clients, their revenue providers are having an issue and that they take it seriously, as an organisation.

This would generate so much more goodwill than any prolonged silence is destroying, at no loss or liability to the company.

So I reiterate, I don't understand - and I'm not particularly stoooopid!

Hello there.

I fear you may be right - that we are lost in the wake caused by the endings juggernaut's passage.

It's a real shame that the game was book-ended with issues - from the face import issue to this endings EMS issue.

Not sure what this'll mean for subsequent games - Dragon Age 3 for example.
