I can't verify that. I did the alien omni-gel quest but saw no WA points until the hanar forces showed up; in a game where I didn't get the hanar I got no points for the gel. Same thing for the Salarian fleet bonus. I've got that one upcoming in my current game, so I'll try and test it.

Nah, I never got the Salarian fleet but I got the tiny group, the STG group. Also, there's a point where you don't have the Geth fleet but you have only the Geth Primes (i think that's right after the Geth Consensus one). 

There's something wonky about the war assets, that much I'm sure of.....

Those look like they're WAD. The geth Primes are a separate WA from the geth fleet. There are two different salarian fleets. The First Fleet shows up if you go along with the dalatrass' suggestion on Tuchanka; if you don't you get nothing from the salarians there. You get the Third Fleet if you saved the Destiny Ascension in ME1; if you didn't save the DA you get the weaker STG Task Group instead.

on my first playthrough I got 3 thousands something and I pay it again importing ME3 and I got over 7,000. which I think the war assets increases the number of times you play a new playthrough.

yeah I'd be interested to see a screenshot of that too, as my second run on a ME3 import didn't get higher war assets.

My prediction: Bioware will NOT address this ever. If they were going to do so, they would have by now.

My ME3 purchase was on hold (due to pre-order DA2 burn) awaiting bug reports and fan reaction. Now with mandatory multiplayer and end fiasco said purchase will await bargain bin or I'll just skip it. If all content can not be accessed by SP only - yeah, I'll prob skip it. Not that EA/BioWare care about my single purchase anyway.

You are incorrect. A mass effect 3 import does not increase your assets.
The only reason there would be such a difference is because you did things differently.
Besides, we're talking about effective military strength, not total military strength.
There are simply not enough assets in the game to play and see all single player content.

It will never be addressed because the multiplayer has microtransactions built in thereby encouraging people to pay real money to play the RNG slot machines buying BioWare points to get the items they want for multiplayer.

Yes, but it will require paying for DLC that won't be available until an unspecified date. But while you wait, we'll continue to lie to you and tell you that you can see it if you try.

A very good idea!  I'd love to help if I can.  I don't know anything about data mining, so I couldn't contribute a spreadsheet.  But I might be able to gather screenshots as suggested.  Anyone "game" with providing a spreadsheet?

Has anyone managed to get the N7 Master and Commander achievement playing single player only?

'Deliver most of the galaxy at war assets to the final conflict'

I've done all side quests N7 missions etc, but haven't managed to get the achievement. Just wondering if this is connected to the problem of reaching 4000EMS.

nope I didn't get it but both my friends who played mp as they both are not the type to ever finish games just play the online got it one of them didn't even import a file as he's never finished ME2 or even played ME1

Blergh. Girls wanting eye contact are distracting. I prefer when I am allowed to kick back and just relax instead of being forced into a staring contest

I don't think Bioware is going to fix it to our satisfaction either, but if enough people are disappointed or angry I believe it could hurt their future sales... I for one will never ever pre-order any of their games again... and if they ever come out with another ME trilogy I'll wait for reviews, bargains etc. or just go back to FPS, which is my gaming style.  This was the first RPG I've ever played.

I had pre-ordered the Collector's edition for PC, but because there was a delay, I went out on day 1 an bought the Xbox version as well.  For both versions I have ME2 imports, but now that I've finished the xbox version, I have no desire to play the PC one.  It's going to collect dust for awhile... I don't know. 

Even thought I'm disapointedd in the ending choices and the various plot holes, it's the Multiplayer aspect that has me the most angry.  I haven't player MP in over a decade and really have no desire, but because I felt emotionally compelled to see the "breath" ending, I decided to try it... and even though its not bad,  I shouldn't have to play MP to get over 5000 ems.  It's alot of work when I've already sunk 75+ hours into the game (I really take my time and pause to check out the game guide tips :-) 

Also, the fact that the war readiness rating keeps declining each day is absolutely ridiculous and angers me even more.  This is an underhanded tactic to make money and disregard the core audience that made Mass Effect successful in the first place.  Correct me if I'm wrong, but did anyone purchase ME3 solely for its MP content?  

It's a shame, because Mass Effect 3 is a great game to play right up until the last few minutes.
