Thank you.Well, what LI do you have in mind? I have to generally be weary of my time (hint: I'm using up all my waking out-of-work hours to work on this series already
), but if you have a request that's shared by lots of people, I'll at least try to supply you with what you want.
Generally, I want to cover the three most popular BroShep options and the three most popular FemShep options - with the statistical data showing me the path to go.
Oh, don't worry if it's not something you were planning to do anyway. You're already saving the ending for me, it's pretty presumptious of me to expect you to fix my other major gripe with the game on top of that

If you ever have a chance, spread these around, send them to other Mass Effect & BioWare fans, post them at social media, etc. etc. - everything like that is greatly appreciated, as is providing feedback. ^^Strategyking92 wrote...
quick question: what does the green explosion mean in ep. 21? Also like everybody else has been saying, these comics are amazing! I really hope we get to see the series through!
The green explosion is the Prothean Beacon blowing up, as seen on Eden Prime in ME1. The difference is that I've also shown a lightning-like representation of the pulse from the explosion hitting the geth transport.cogsandcurls wrote...
Legitimately got a bit teary over this one. Great job once again, Koob!
I'm sure you've answered this question somewhere before but I've forgotten the answer, so forgive me if I ask again: I know you're keeping the core comics relationship-free so that romances can be kind of inferred by dialogue but not outright confirmed so as to keep the comics from getting hugely complicated. But do you have plans to do any sort of mini-epilogues for the LIs or something? And if so, is there any possiblity you might think of doing a little something for those of us whose LIs are no longer, ahem, "with us"? Please??

Hrm... something with the LI's? I admit, while I would very much want to see Jane and Liara have a soft moment or something special in your epilogue, I think that the best thing to do would be to just have Shepard's gender remain unmentioned and without a specific LI given in the story. Every Shepard is unique after all.
That way everyone can imagine what they want to see. In the genius words of the great Mac Walters: "Lots of speculations for everyone!"
Personally I would love to see it play out like that.
But I'm not trying to make you change your artistic vision. What kind of fan would do that?

I also suspect you will bring Shepard into your comic at one point, right? If I may suggest, you should find a way to make this Shepard everyone's Shepard. Maybe keep him masked (even though it is tough because his armor was blasted off), or his face in the shadow, or maybe covered in blood... I don't know.
I guess the best way to go would be to go the helmet-on way of ME2's opening.
Koobismo, any idea how you are going to approach this yet?
PS: also, it is so great to see Nihlus play a role in the comic. I always loved Nihlus. He was the first Turian we encountered and left an impression. It's awesome to make him Marauder Shields. He gets the role Bioware never gave him. Plus it surprisingly fits his character: wasn't there a talk in ME1 where he was said to be a badass who'' could take on an entire platoon on his own?'' (Jenkins?).

@Cogsandcurts "Presumptious" is such an awesome word! Just feel how it rolls of the tongue.

If you are going to do something about the LI of Shepard, I really hope you'll do one for Miranda. Her ME3 romance sucked hard, whether it is the scene or the lack of conclusion.

Miranda - sure. She's my LI, she's going to be there no matter what.

I wonder... Will Ashley appear?
Yup, Kaidan as well, in the same comic (released in two versions).

I must ask, where did you learn to write? I've been practicing script writing and plan to pursue college education to get a mastery over the art of drawing, breathing life to faceless words with images that many people may understand and appreciate better.
I attented American Culture classes at college, but its hardly the place I would give too much credit to - probably writing my own G.I.Joe spin-offs when I was 13 was where it all began, everything else just kinda' evolved from that.

It's a great read and it feels like my ME story. And that makes it brilliant.
Keep it up!

Are the geth alive in this story, by the way? Because I don't remember seeing them on any of the episodes.
As for Shepard, I think you should use the default one. I think it would provide more impact on the story than if you go for a faceless one.
Keep up the incredible work!

Although I may make a third version, with Shepard basically out of view, that's possible. Anyone else interested in something like this?

Miranda - sure. She's my LI, she's going to be there no matter what.As for Shepard - A LOT people actually declared that they want to see Shepard's face in the comic. With 70% of players using the default characters (or something like that, can't remember the precise number), going with defaultSheps seems the way to go. Although I may make a third version, with Shepard basically out of view, that's possible. Anyone else interested in something like this?
Well this is really great to know Miranda is going to get the proper treatment for her romance.
As for the default Shepard, well, if this is what the majority wants, I don't have a problem with that. It's just that I never understood the appeal of using Sheploo when you can create your own Shepard. Matter of personal tastes I'm sure... but I never liked Sheploo. At all. He doesn't look like a soldier, he looks like a bad boy underwear model... which he is by the way. The custom Shepard I created is actually much more like a real soldier... he sorts of look like the Doomguy. But that's just me.

Personally speaking, I always use a custom Shep, but the face creator isn't that great so I can understand using default. As for looking like an underwear model, I've never really thought that at all. Might your knowledge that he is an underwear model be coloring your perception?

I used it because each and every custom made Shepard looked akward in the cutscenes. And I wanted them to look at least okay. Until I heard enough of Jennifer Hale's VA, I thought that maleShep was the obvious choice. Now I have a different take on that....

Jennifer Hale is a great and incredibly prolific voice actor, but I tried playing as FemShep in ME1. Her voice would sound completely different from scene to scene and it really threw me off, so I haven't tried it since. Being male, MaleShep works fine for me.

That sounds awesome, and I'm 100% certain that you're going to pull off a much better ending than the one we have. A legitimate, real ending that I'm most probably going to headcanon for myself.
But I have a question. I don't know whether it was like that initially, but the first few episodes of the Marauder Shields comics are obviously on the funny side of things and are not something believable and they are as much 'space magic' as the original ending. Specifically, Marauder Shields and the Reapers' dialogue at the beginning. Is this still considered 'canon' to the Marauder Shields comics story, or does it actually begin from chapter seven or eight when it actually becomes a serious ending alternative?
Thanks in advance!
