Irony:  the galaxy being slowly exterminated by the reapers is a far better fate than dying of starvation within a weak. Shepard manages to do more evil than the antagonists in the game. 

So. I think we should offer a salute to the real heroes. Like the reapers, trying to get TIM to shoot shepard. Or Morinth, who had the forsight to attempt to kill shepard almost a year earlier. 

And, let us never forget, marauder shields.
