Maybe it's just me, but when the ghostly guardian starts speaking, did anyone else think of Star Trek V?  When he says "I have waited here for so long" (or similar to that) it brought to mind the being on the planet (God).  Though I'm not done the gauntlet section yet, if the guardian returns and starts asking me to "Bring the Urn.... closer"  I'm going to have to freak out

Fair point, I suppose he does look like the grandson of the Holy Templar Knight. Maybe he's camoed in more movies?

He's a mix between Indiana Jones 3 and Pirates of the Carribean. Who else uses the word "parley"?

Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade was the 3rd movie, featuring the guardian of the holy grail.

"Parley" and "acquiesce" were both in that Werewolf dialogue.  I thought of Pirates of the Carribean right away.
