Now that I got my game registered, I can post this in the appropriate forum. Here goes:

I've tried asking everyone, and I still cannot get a definitive answer
or a response. Okay, I'm a major completionist and I intend to get all
weapons in the single player campaign to level 10. But the M-3 Predator,
(the starting pistol) will not go past level 7. I know in order to get
the last three levels for most weapons, you just have to "acquire" in in
your next playthrough. So now I'm on my fourth playthrough, still
haven't gotten anything. I got it straight to level 7 by buying the
seven upgrades from the normandy upgrade bay. Please, I would appreciate
any insight.

Also, can anyone CONFIRM that they have a level 10 Predator? Everyone I know is stuck at level 7.

I know what you mean. I just started a third play through and the pred would not upgrade beyond that. However it's not just that, when I was playing through the prolouge I did not find the avenger, shuriken, mantis, and the vindicator . I'm starting to think that you HAVE to buy the upgrades in order to reach lv 10

That is just it though, I purchased it straight to level 7, it won't let me purchase any more upgrades.

Edit: Ah I see, you said BUY as in from a store, I think. Either way, there isn't a store that you can purchase from, nor is there any way for me to buy upgrades for it, it no longer is shown on my upgrade bay for where I can purchase upgrades.

Ugh can ANYONE confirm that they have a level 10 Predator? My last theory to get around it is to maybe upgrade it to 4 in your first playthrough, which I'm pretty sure I didn't do...

I am having the same problem. So I don't know why this is happening.
