IGN is full of crap. They quoted the entire announcement from yesterday and just assumed that the announcement was going to be a new ending and/or change to the existing one. They don't know any more than us.

Something concrete and not vague would have been nice. If Bioware just made a statement that flat out said "No. We're not changing the ending. The only DLC we're making is pre-TIM base", then I'll just move on and forget about the game.

They're keeping us on our toes for a reason.

IGN is just being bad at reporting and exaggerating the statements of Ray Muzyka.

At the moment, the only thing we were told is that the endings will be explained more to provide closure, and that we need to wait till april to learn more.

Nothing has been said but Bioware is listening and is doing something to give more clarity and we'll learn more in April. For all we know it could be an added line to the end screen that says "Rocks fall, everyone dies."

(replaced word "closure" with "clarity" to more accurately reflect my recollection of Dr. M's statement)
