I will wait as long as necessary for a well made game that sticks to the established lore, has a strong story, excellent characters (and romance interests obviously) and won't need any patches to be a solid game after release.

If you don't think DA:3 will be out in 2013 you're ****ing kidding yourself. EA's forcing bioware into yearly releases. Using one of the four studios they've made under the bioware name to crank it out.

Waited 5 years for TES V Skyrim. Played over 450 hours and can't wait to get home tonight and play some more. Sometimes the wait is worth it.
The effort BioWarEA put into DA2 showed, badly, in everything in the game. If they rush another one out I expect it to be just as bad.

If I do decide to buy it, I don't think I'm going to fall for the preorder crap like I did with DA2. That game was NOT worth $60 + the money I paid for Sebastian (****ing bull**** that they took him out of DA2 and Javik out of ME3). To make that even more stupid you don't even get to use that character until about half the friggin' game is over.

Usually 2 to 3 yrs is enough time to make a great game. I just don't want a rushed job. I would rather wait and get a great game than wait for a year because I'm impatient. I want a good game and sometimes that takes time.
