 A friend and I were reflecting on the ending of Mass Effect 3, as far as opinions I won't go there, however we did start to talk about how a sequel would work, even though cinematically speaking the endings were all simular the consequences were fairly radicle, on top of which the milky way is now practically a ticking time bomb of death, or atleast several systems are, including earth.  With that said my question is how would you have a sequel answer all of these questions? what would the story of this sequel be? what could you do? or what prequel would you have and what would you do? or just because I'm interested and I haven't seen this anywere else, what would your ideal alternate ending be?  

That being said I would like people to be respectful and I appologise if there are other threads for this.

Example: My sequel would be set either directly after or a year or two after ME3, the main plot point is that with the destruction of the relays the galaxy has been sealed off.  Your charecther fits in as a (insert race here/gender (prefebly all options have voices)) who has been appointed the cammand of a highly experimental ship featuring a new type of engine capable of re-establishing the galactic community (warp drive, wormholes, hyperdrive, node, doesn't matter).  you are sent out to remake contact with everyone and spread around the blueprints while taking back much needed supplies to the Local cluster ( seeing as how half the military strength of the galaxy is stranded there and Earth is a graveyard) as for the story, I haven't thought that far,
