What's the point?  I thought the items were nice...but.

What is the point of getting them if you cannot use them EVER?  The dragon armor takes high strength so you cannot use it...I was putting all my level gains into str..and right before you get to Ostagar your character loses the entire inventory!! So all it did was take up bag space.  I can't believe I paid extra for useless content. 

Is there any way to get the bonus items back?  Other than starting all over and NOT picking that origin?

Its a bug, but there is a workaround. After the 'event' follow these steps



* Save the game

* Exit to menu

* Disable all DLC (Download Content area of main menu, go to the 3rd tab and uncheck everything)

* Reload your game (pick the Force Load option(s))

* Save again

* Exit to menu

* Enable all DLC

* Reload your game.



This way you essentially 'trick' the game into thinking you're enabling the DLC for the first time by loading up a savegame without any references to the DLCs you have, thus it recreates the items and plot points for you.

Strange. When I ended up at Ostagar, I believe I had all my Blood Dragon armor still. Not entirely sure...

Just make sure you don't do this if you already have shale. I did and shale wasn't there anymore, but was there for the end.
