Maybe its just that I'm 31 with a job and a kid, but any game that gives me even 20 hours of enjoyment is great as far as I'm concerned, I'll happily pay for that. As for replay value try Civilization 4 which I've played endlessly or most sports games. If it has to be rpgs I guess BG2 is the standout game that I've sat down and completed several times which just goes to show that anything which is truly good enough is worth doing again. Just like watching a great movie or reading a great book several times a game doesn't even have to have open endings and many options to be worth playing again. It just needs enough layers that you can see something new in it on a second or even third playthrough.

KOTOR was the last game I repeated. I don't replay games often unless they're REALLY good. Dragon Age is soon to join that list :)

Hey yeah, I replayed Prince of Persia too. Could never make out if the fat guard or Jaffar was toughest to best in one on one combat...

Forgot Vagranst Story for ps

Dude, I can't believe I forgot that, another PSone classic that gets better w/ New Game+

VAGRANT STORY - best single player, non party based, JRPG of all time.  Combat was deep, item shop was deep, boss battles deep, story was deep... the only flaw in the game is box puzzles, but that was a 90s thing.

Well excluding the multiplayer function of things like dawn of war, MMO's etc, I suppose that leaves;

BG 1 and 2

NWN 2 but not 1

KOTOR 1 and 2

Icewind Dale 1 and 2

ES4 Oblivion

Zelda: Ocarina of time and Majoras mask

Goldeneye (you had to do it on every mode or it just wasnt the same)

Freelancer (had an epic story worthy of any RPG)

Starlancer (I just loved the feel of this game, although no one knows it exists, played it so many times)

Wing Commander Prophecy

Star Wars Rogue Squadren

Jedi Knight Dark Forces II (+ sequels)

I can honestly say I've played all those games to their death, and while some may not all be 100% perfect creations, they have provided me with more entertainment than anything else.

Yeah MMOs should not count.

Otherwise it would have been Everquest up to Scars (retired) and Everquest Online Adventures PS2 for me, played those 2 to death.  Both games came before WoW and especially in EQOA, you can see where WoW stole a lot of their design from.

Daggerfall, all the IE games (BGs, IWDs,) except PS:T which I loved my first playthrough but could not get into a replay, Return to Krondor, NWN 1 & 2, & DA:O.

Some more so than others - BG & BG2 (but not TOB) I played for years - probably more than any other followed by NWN2 and IWD2 (also played for years) and then the others. I expect DA:O to be extremely replayable for me based on what I have seen thus far.

Thanks for reminding me of it!

Only the last games? Well, I only buy games that I expect to have replay value, so...

Mass Effect

Fallout 3 (with mods of course)

NWN 2 - little replay value per se, but also lots of mods. And MotB does have replay value.

Dragon Age
