Even the most ardent advocates of the ending admit the existence of at least one plot hole, namely the normandy.

It's not explained. That is not a plot hole....

No, it goes contrary to Joker and the squad's characters.
It makes no sense. It has no context.

It's a massive plot hole, and no explanation you could ever give would fix it.

He's either an idiot or being paid to say that.

A few notable quotes (paraphrased slightly)

"What is important about the ending is what it sets up for the continuation of the Mass Effect universe. Probably an MMO or another trilogy."

"It is less of an ending and more of a new beginning."

"It might have gone over some people's heads."

MSNBC has never been a reliable source of news, ever, haha.

Seriously, I hate fox news and MSNBC is far, far worse than even them.

Let me just ask, what the hell do they know about the Mass Effect series? They're too busy licking Obama's giggle berries to play video games.

So if we don't like the ending, we're just stupid and it went over our heads? I guess i'm not hipster or deep enough for this ending. -shrugs-

Funny, he said the liking or disliking the ending was opinion not a measure of intelligence.

He did say it may have gone over our heads. It didn't. Once again, I guess i'm not deep enough for it. <_<

Only reason MSNBC is adopting this position is because Fox News is doing the opposite.

Not perfect - (what is?) but I still liked it.

I think somebody should tell him he obviously put in Mass Effect 2 and played that by mistake.

MSNBC has also equated political terms to racial slurs, they're pretty much a tabloid.  Who cares what a tabloid thinks.  You gonna get mad if Weekly World News supports the endings?  LOL I wouldn't worry dude.

Ok I completely disagree with him...

But at least he said he can understand to some degree why people are upset and isn't opposed to those people (us) getting a new ending. He just doesn't want a new ending for him personally and I can respect that.

No plot holes? He must have seen the crew get back on the Normandy and the explanation of Joker's reasons for flying off to god knows where and we all missed it.

-Went over our heads.
-Artistic integrity.
-Entitlement.

I think he pretty much said everything that's been said before.

What did you expect from a totally biased source?

I'll impersonate many people perception of MSNBC news for a moment with what I say.

All US citizens know that FOX news is 100% wrong in everything they ever say.

I'll impersonate many people perception of FOX new for a moment.

ALL US citizens know that MSNBC news is 100% wrong in everything they say.

My opinion is that when people ever say ALL or none or always or never... ignore everything else they just said because they've just proven an inability to be honest and unbiased.

Considering he's working for a news agency, you'd think he might do a tiny bit of research, but he obviously didn't. People like him keep trying to use the age old political spin to make the argument seem trivial, by pretending it's about something else.

The incomplete ending is indeed brilliant and well thought out, however as we say over and over it's about expecting Bioware to deliver what we were told to expect.

Or as the good Dr. Ray Muzyka said "So, it’s incredibly painful to receive feedback from our core fans that the game’s endings were not up to their expectations."

Calling us Line Holders the core fans, the ones at the core of Bioware, the ones that have been with them forever, the ones that know what they are talking about, and the ones giving expectations by Bioware that were not met.

These people talking all this garbage don't even read what Bioware says, so why would we expect them to read what we say?

Ever informed gamer now knows this guy has NO CLUE on what he's talking about. Kinda like most of our politicians... or voters.

That man's hatred for people he doesn't agree with couldn't be covered up anymore.  It took them way too long.

Wow. Um. That guy definitely rubs me the wrong way.

Over my head? WHAT!? I'm not a genius...but that's just condescending...

And I'm pretty sure that even the people who like the ending aren't blind to the plot holes...

"A gap or inconsistency in a storyline that goes against the flow of logic established by the story's plot, or constitutes a blatant omission of relevant information regarding the plot. These include such things as unlikely behaviour or actions of characters, illogical or impossible events, events happening for no apparent reason, or statements/events that contradict earlier events in the storyline."

Oh so you're just going to ignore what I said and run along with silly assertions.
Typical white knight.
