I mean, there's something to be said for standing up for your cause. Going to PAX and asking poignant questions, being easily identified as a Retake member so the media can spot you, and NOT behaving like an idiot so negative press overwhelms the message we're trying to get out.

Feel free to glare daggers at the panel, though.

Is it sad that, given your profile pic, I actually heard Tali's voice say that in my head?

They are going to cancel, they have to.

I hope they do not....so long as fellow retakers keep it civil, yet poignant. Something clever that makes our position and dissatisfaction clear, without making us look like giant ****s.

I agree with the t shirt idea, red, blue, and green, and with "Mass Effect Ending #1, #2, and #3" on it. That would impact sales, humiliate and ridicule the devs, and create consequences for future devs who screw the fans.

I don't have any sympathy for these people at this point. They chose to release that ending, this is what happens when you do things like that. I hope they have a terrible, no good, very bad day on the 6th.

I think it would be great if the fans that are upset get the chance to talk to BioWare at PAX, as long as they keep it civil

I suspect they'll see this one coming and cancel at the last minute for "reasons unrelated to the ending".

Well, my only hope is that any hopped-up, angry attendees won't be so quick to embarrass themselves and the rest of us when they're talking to someone face to face. No offense to anybody. But you know what I mean.

I really hope a gigantic Mass Effect fanbase shows up formed into 3 groups, wearing red, blue, and green respectively.

Epic idea

I think the principle that we need to stay civil and reasonable online is 100x more critical and applicable IRL.

That said, a tri-color coordinated audience would be awesome though.

If we go in as raving nutjobs we make IGN right. Chew on that for a few minutes before grabbing your torch and pitchfork please.

My money says all member of the "Public" attending Pax will be screened, to make sure none of those in the room will ask any questions about the ending.

Stay cool and don't start any riots until they say something about the ending "discussion".
Stay calm, don't allow your emotions to take over.

A suggestion.

We should start a thread where the community could post a list of questions that we most want answered. Posters could suggest phrasing as well, so as to increase the likelihood of getting the highest priority questions asked in a way that would be the most reasonable.

If the so-called fans at PAX harass BioWare further in an unseemly matter, it'll just further the bad reputation BioWare's "fans" are getting now. Whether you want to believe it or not, BioWare's fans are quickly gaining notoriety as coming in close to being some of the worst fans around - eclipsed only by Star Wars fans, BSG fans, and Lost fans.

Something to be proud of, to be sure.

Why?  Becuase IGN says so?

Nope.

We'll see in some weeks but my guess is Bioware will act like Metallica when confronted about not playing thrash metal at all: we have evolved, we are older... BS. you have sold out.

I don't know whether or not to be supportive of this.

If fans are going to gather and speak as one very large voice about the endings and calmly demand a change, I support it.

But all I keep imagining are misguided attempts that end up no better than forum trolling, which inevitably hurts the cause instead of helps it.
