I would so go to PAX... if it were in LA. I am not very close to Boston at all.
Also my problem... LA and Boston = not at all close

I really hope a gigantic Mass Effect fanbase shows up formed into 3 groups, wearing red, blue, and green respectively.

Plenty of people who didn't come flocking to the internet to complain about it were pretty okay with the ending. I wouldn't be surprised at all if a number of reasonably, happy fans wanted to discuss other things than the ending, or thank Bioware for an amazing trilogy.
And of course, everyone here will immediately peg them as planted shills. Because people with dissenting opinions can't possibly be anything other than a troll or a member of a vast conspiracy.

Was looking at the PAX schedule and just noticed another interesting panel:
Plot vs Play: The Duality of Modern Game Design
How do you tell a story to somebody who can control the way it’s told? How do you blend a game’s narrative with its mechanics without forcing prominence on one over the other? How do you seamlessly tie the two elements together? Does it even matter? Join BioShock creator Ken Levine and Mass Effect lead Casey Hudson alongside Joystiq’s Ben Gilbert and Kotaku’s Jason Schreier for a conversation about the never-ending war between narrative and gameplay—and how the two can finally make peace.
Panelists:
Ben Gilbert [Senior Reporter, Joystiq], Jason Schreier [Reporter,
Kotaku], Ken Levine [Creative Director, Irrational Games], Casey Hudson
[Game Director, Electronic Arts/BioWare label]
Arachnid Theatre
Saturday 4/7 5:30PM - 6:30PM
I'd be interested to hear Casey's response to the first question. "Well, we give them the illusion of control all the way up until the end, and then yank it away from them as harshly as possible."
