Yeah, you guessed it, another god-damned thread on the ending, except this one has some honest to god questions that may be answerable! So without further adue:
Why were the relays destroyed when you took control over the reapers/chose the synthesis option?
Why was Anderson seen choosing the "bad" option?
Why did Liara get off the ship when she was with me on that final run?
How was the Illusive Man able to sort of "control" Shepard and Anderson? (I thought indoctrination and the like was a gradual process)
Why in God's name was Joker retreating in the first place?
Why did the signal to control the reapers crash the Normandy?
If the Normandy crashed, does that mean the Sword fleet is all gone as well?
Did the Mass Relay take out Earth?
Why did the ending just completely differ from the overall tone of the Mass Effect story?
The race that built the reapers, are they some sort of "transcended beings"?
Why did the damned ending seem so artsy?
How did Anderson make it up to the Citadel?
These are some of the questions that have been itching at me. Like most people, the ending seemed viable, until it was revealed you had three choices and they all did the same ****in' thing. I wish what I had done throughout the series, or hell maybe even just during the course of the game, would have had some effect on the ending, it didn't. What bugged me the most were the glaring plot holes, and how characters just stopped acting how they would've acted. Hopefully someone can provide me with at least one or two answers.
Some questions.
