Hi People,

I'm wondering how many gamers out there have purchased the new zombie apocalypse game from Valve. If you haven't yet (or never heard of it), I'll give a quick preview. It's a team based survival horror game played over five campaigns with a team of four players. You log into a lobby, pick one of the survivors, then hop in and enjoy massacring the recently Infected.
Sadly, due to it's focus on multiplayer, the game is not as enjoyable and often frustratingly difficult if you don't have a full group of survivors. So, I thought it might be a good idea to create a Steam group for the BioWare fans. This way, you can get in contact with other players and create lobbies with ease.
So, I'm starting this thread to see if I can drum up any interest. What do you guys think?

I've been a member of too many groups, but it can't hurt, I guess.  They always use my awesomeness just to get more members, though.  I have feelings of my own, you know!

But can you blame them? You shouldn't hold your awesomeness with but one or two but should share it with the world!

I find it really enjoyable. Though I think DA is going to replace BG as the game I play once every year. Can't wait for the difficult mods to start rolling out. In the meanwhile there are zombies...

Some of my coworkers are lousy teammates for the zombie apocalypse. When it happens, I should just put a bullet in their brain, save me-I mean, them the trouble.

Also, mics are a must for this game. I'm getting to the point where if 2 or more don't have mics, I'd ragequit because it's such a hindrance.

I dunno, sometimes microphones don't help when everyone's screaming over each other giving countermanding orders/requests, and you watch the poor survivors get picked off one by one until there is no one left but zombies.  Though I only have L4D right now.  I should have jumped on the STEAM holiday sale for L4D2 but alas I was too slow to act  :crying:

Microphones are screwy on Steam, mine has never worked for some reason. But that's why you use ventrilo and only play with friends. Quality is much higher. Plus less chance of crazy gamers yelling at you! I can't play public games or by myself anyways, they're just not fun.

I was too slow on the L4D2 sale too. Only have L4D. :(

The game does seem more difficult than the original.
Before hand I would typicaly play on "advanced" with only occasionally dying.
In left4dead 2 it's regular to die on the "normal" setting.

Well, since there seems a fair amount of interest, I'll look into creating a group. I'll update the thread with the group information.

If you don't join, I'll be sure to park lots of alarmed cars in front of your home.

And I'll set them all off before running into the safe room.

Nah, just kidding. I only do that to my roommate. I'll be sure to join the group.
