I'm going to purchase Dragon Age Origins again for the PC now that my new computer can probably handle them, however I'm not wanting to miss out on the Collector's Edition items, nor anything else.

Should I go with the Digital Deluxe edition and get the rest of the DLC seperately?

Or go with the Ultimate Edition, manually install the DLC items I can, and forget the Collector's Edition DLC?

Overall the Ultimate Edition looks like it's the best setup but I don't really want to miss out on the other items, if at all possible I want to get it all lol.

Also, if I were to get both the Digital Deluxe and the Ultimate Edition, can I somehow transfer the DLC from one to the other?

EDIT: And I tried talking to their live chat support which of course didn't help at all, she didn't know **** about the game...

The only things missing from the Ultimate Edition that are in the Digital Deluxe edition are the Soundtrack, Trailers, Wallpapers and 3 in game items (Bergen's Honor, Grimoire of the Frozen Wastes and Final Reason)

Would it really be worth buying both editions for that?

As for your last question yes, DLC is account specific not game specific so you could use all the DLC in either version if you did buy both.

Hmm, I could also get the DD and just purchase the other DLC separately but I think it would be cheaper to get both versions lol. Too bad BioWare won't activate for multiplatform if you've purchased the DLC for other platforms already lol.

Plus I don't care much about most of the other stuff, mostly just looking for the in game material.  I don't like to miss out on that stuff you know? lol

You might wish to take a read of this thread before buying if planning on picking up the UItimate Edition retail vs digital.

In fact I have read that thread, and were I going to pick up one of the copies it would have likely been the UE. I'm still considering getting the DD and buying the other DLC separately though, because the DD has the collector's edition items. My main concern right now is to make sure my computer can handle it. I have another thread here asking about the technical aspects for the most part. If I can I'm going to try to borrow the game from someone (any edition) and test it on my computer to see if it works before I buy it. The demo for DA2 works though, just plays slightly choppy. I also have a hastily thrown together image showing the specs for my computer here. It would probably be better though to keep detailed technical discussion to the other thread, but if anyone wants to briefly state their thoughts about it in this thread instead (due to whatever reasons) I won't stop you.
