Not a problem hun. I this community more and more every day. I really like what the bulk of us are doing, and while I remain skeptical of Bioware's solution, I know we as a whole can do a lot of good.

That the media, forum trolls, and even the founders of Child's Play (Penny Arcade) are trying to spin this in a way that discredits all the amazing work we did.

People asking for refunds on donations? I don't believe this for a second, and if it's true... it's a tiny minority. The vast majority knew Child's Play was the true cause and we just wanted a positive outlet for our frustrations while giving back to a cause we care about.

I know about the FTC guy and I read a few threads asking about suing bioware as well as saw all the metacritic/amazon reviews but seriously...a BOMB threat...and now people are being douchecopters and demanding refunds from child's play?. Man IGNorance is going to have a field day with this.

And when it turns out that anger isn't actually going to get results, and instead is doing something stupid like helping sick children, demand money back! Then try and defend against people who say doing it for ulterior motives isn't a good thing, and claim that the co-founder has no proof and *puts on tinfoil hat* is trying to make you look bad deliberately.

This sums a lot of the posts here. Really you shouldn't be trying to defend this, just say how proud you are that you donated, which is a good thing, and say how disgusted you are at these people who demanded their money back.

Yup. Use the actions of the few to condemn the masses. It's terrible to overgeneralize like that, but we know IGN doesn't give a **** about anything other than making those of us upset with the ending look worse. They will twist it any way they can to make it look so.

Yes. I am proud of those who donated to Child's Play and had the wherewithall to understand what their money was doing and where it was going. I am proud of the $80,000 in a little over a weeks time. It was incredible.
