I thought people where better than this, had more common sense to see that this was a positive outlet for us, to donate to sick kids who deserve a better life. Shame on you, if you asked for your money back and shame on you for doing it only for the damn endings.

So incredibly disgusted by this I don’t want to be a part of this movement anymore if people are doing this.

thank you!

i have said this ever since it first started honestly

to me its not even about the endings because now every gamr will be labeled a indian giver because the so called movment have gone on record saying they speak for every gamer

im sorry yes i may sound rude cold and a jerk but i never asked for the movment to speak for me

i had a feeling something like foul play will happen and i was right

im mad because as a person with gaming aside it just really baffles me on how a majority will be so selfish

im no saint myself i admit but this is just a whole new ball game

and to those in the movment who didnt agree with that majority i apologize and i didnt mean to snap at you im just very devistated at this situation

AN ICREDIBLE MINORITY ASKED FOR REFUNDS.   VERY VERY SMALL.  People just won't listen no matter what.

I'm not even a part of the movement but don't make stuff up.

goodnight

still even a small minority can indeed make every gamer look bad

look at the poster who went to the ftc for example

seriousy ask yourself this what if this made the news? how do you know the news person will or wont say the video game world and gamers alike are all the same?

im not making things up im just saying we all now have to be carefull because that could possibly happen

Who's doing this? I haven't heard of anyone doing this ever. Anyone demanding money back from a charity, regardless of why they donated, is a truly appalling individual. Unless it turns out that the charity was a Mafia front.

You're gonna make me crazy with this, again ^_^.

So, one citizen decided to fill a complaint to the proper commission, a right undoubtedly recognized to him, he did it properly, in a civil manner and without threatening the e-lives of anyone but still..

You think such a behavior can make every gamer looks bad?

I do not understand, seriously. While you and me can get along and have a beer on the basis that there was absolutely no ground for such a complaint I'll never feel "outraged" by the fact that he decided to exercise his own rights. Why anyone should feel entitled to judge him, it's a matter of principle.

What proof do you have that its a high amount?

This may undermine what I said previously but...

The PA homepage declares no official numbers whatsoever.  Everything that people are saying about numbers is speculation.

I believe the numbers are low because most of the people in the movement are civil.

Even if you think they aren't civil.  It takes the worst kind of low life to demand a refund from a charity.  So my assumption is based on a little faith in humanity.

And the PA hate is because they have condemned the movement since the start and refused to accept the donations as stated on the homepage due to the movement using them as tools.

I'm not going to get into the philosophy of whether donating to a charity with motives behind it is right or weong.  It is personal opinion.

Refund from a charity? Seriously? Where is their conscience?

Stupid enough to donate to what they thought was a new ending? Cut your losses. Jeez.

Yeah it says EXACTLY what I said.  No numbers.

High could be 100 out of 50,000.

Hardly representative of their movement.

But you're reeling me in and I'm getting frustrated.  We're just butting heads and neither will cave.  Sorry for the conflict.

Tonight has left me bitter.

Apparently some people thought they were "paying for an ending." If they can't be bothered to read the petition or don't understand what a petition is I can't help that. *shrug*

Wait a minute. So there has been a huge thread extrapolating hidden meanings from press releases and CM statements as proof, but when a a statement is made outright by someone else it's only alleged?

Wait, what?!

Ugh, this is embarrassing. I cannot believe some people would be like this.

For the record, I did donate. I am sickened by the idea that some people would want to take BACK a donation. There goes my "I guess gamers aren't as douchey as XBL chat indicates after all!" exuberance.

****.

Anyone who demanded their money back does not deserve to wear the colors of RetakeMassEffect.
This is just disgusting, and its people like that that makes me loose faith in humanity. :(
