Expecially considering they quarians have a different DNA basis from humans. Same as turians

Also, i doubt a quarian ear would look like that.

Their ears or ear analogues differ in a noticeable fashion from those of humans, with references made to "what [passes] for the quarian version of an ear".

But i agree, Bioware could have put more effort in the appearance of Tali/the quarians.

Quarian homeworld is arid, so it is likely that their skin doesn't shine, and is more lizard-scale like. Lacking insect life and the associated plant growth they are probably omnivores with strong carnivore tendencies, which should be reflected in their teeth as well as in some sort of camouflage paint on their scales.

Just my point of view of course. I am no xenobiologist *g*

I agree that this picture has a kind of lack of flare for individuality. I think quarians should have more of turian in them. For example the headcreasts mixed with hair, also the eyes have to glow after all this is canon from all 3 games. But they have to have a face very close to human i think.

Asari are humans without ears, pretty much Twi'lek rip-offs. This actually looks alien and beautifully exotic at the same time.

I wouldn't protest if this was canon, though I'm still hoping Bioware gives us an official ingame model for Tali at some point.

eh not a fan of this myself. Grunt in ME2 said quarians were crispy. Or rather that killing them with a knife was harder than an asari or a human. I always imagined they had rough skin like turians or something because of that.

Any way you slice it though the picture of Tali was a terrible decision. Endings aside it was the worst decision of the game. Either leave it to the imagination or give her an in game face. Pulling an image off the internet? Really? Who sees this idea and thinks "YES!"?

I thought it would be good that Quarians look 'proper' human. All the other races look fairly alien (okay they are bidepal) but I find it quite amusing that two races with different genetic chirality look so similar (from the neck up).

Look at hte CRAAAAAZY aliens with that hair on top!

In game, Tali mentions that plants on Rannoch used large animals, including Quarians, to spread their seeds, like how some Earth plants do. For some reason, this made me think they'd be furry or something.

I like this, but think that the starfish upper face portions should be eliminated and the ears should be almost nonexistent or somewhat alien (but smaller). Her flesh coloring should also be grey or seriously pale.

that lack of furrys in the mass effect universe has always bothered me.

Ok not furrys, but mammals. Furry creatures. Things with hair besides humans.
