Am I the only one whose interest in MP is starting to decay rapidly?

Keep asking for nerfs and eventually you'll be playing alone. What is it with you people trying to kill everyone elses experiance because YOU think a weapon is too powerful?Waykam wrote...

Hopefully pistols will get nerfed as well and a much needed boost to ARs.
Stop with all this nerfing BULLSH*T.
I feel exactly the same. I'd like powers to that as well. I hate having something that works well one day then is completely useless the next day because of randoms crying nerf over everything. All that time it took to find that build and/or that weapon is now a waste. What's the point of starting over when it's going to just happen again? Not alot really.
I've also been losing interest because of the unlocks. I can't seem to find a weapon that I like that isn't a pistol that isn't affected by the gunshots not registering glitch and not to mention the fact that even in the premium vet packs I keep getting character cards to the characters that I not only already have unlocked but have every color of the rainbow on their armor unlocked as well. At least friggen unlock the character cards I am missing for goodness sakes.

But here, coop is taken a bit further as you also need to do good combos, tackle enemies that come at you with large amounts of HP, and not just storm the maps. I like that. I don't know if I'm gonna play this as long as L4D but the way you can help out another player who just used his power by doing the final blow is addictive, and then you have people using decoys, stasis and bioti charges to help out: It's interesting to see this play out in different ways.

Edit: To the guy above. I played L4D for a year for the same reason, co-oped with my roommate all the time. Sure it's the same enemies and maps, but it's never the same. L4D had only a handful guns as well. I quit just before the 50k zombie kills achievement I think

Hell ****ing no. If they nerf pistols I would lose faith in Bioware. They aren't even remotely OP.Waykam wrote...

Whilst i do find the random unlock system annoying, I seem to be one of the lucky ones that unlocked all characters before N7-120. Now i'm approaching 200 and i have many wapons still to unlock (no carnifex, for example), but the thing that is getting to me is the same levels and the same enemies time and time again.
I have my favourite classes, but i have a setup that I enjoy playing on each character in each type. I know they are my favourite because i have promoted and re-spec'd each character/type a few times, and i feel i've experienced pretty much all they have to offer in terms of different builds.
It's moderation for me now, until DLC - which i hope is more characters, enemy types, and maps.

Add to that the 8 or so spectre packs with a few vet and special vet packs that I've lost through the buggy store, only to be trolled by my packs upgrading every weapon I hate and unlocking characters I already have the skin tone for and... yeah. It's frustrating. Sometimes I want to just stop when things like that happen. But usually, it's really fun to play with friends and anticipate the next unlock.
Not everything has to be as complex as the Arkham Horror board game in order to be fun. Though, I do love that game.

New maps and races are also a must. It would be interesting to see if they could bring in a map large enough where vehicles could be implemented. The unlock system could also be improved. Maybe have a different "special" pack each week that contains specific items.
I'm curious to see if BioWare will commit to the multiplayer aspect of this game, or will they let it fall by the wayside with sub par updates. Time will tell.

Just needs more game modes and or preferably larger maps suitable for PC and not consolization small box maps we currently have. That and more weapons, tired using the same couple guns because rest are lack luster.

I'd like to see some content support. With so few maps and so few enemy types, it can get rather repetitive after a few games in a row. Like I said, I enjoy it, and how it plays, but there are limits to longevity.

Random loot is addictive, take away that and everyone will be running around with a level 10 black widow in no time.(afterall, it wouldnt take half a day to save up the credits you proposed). Once people have that, then they would have no motivation to carry on playing (your proof of that, as you suggest your only playing the game to unlock the BW rather than have fun).

I've almost have 5000 hours of left 4 dead and it's still interesting because it's random, and every game always plays out differently. Yet it's also always tanks, hunters, witches, boomers, but they all behave differently each match you play. It's also like that in ME3

this....1000 times this. im so damned sick of people moaning that the game is doomed, that multiplayer wont last that its got boring already, that they cant find the item they want that there are too many or too few nerfs.... if u don't like this style of repetitive yet quite varied co-op multiplayer game then bog off and play whatever it is that you DO like. Me, CosmicD and many others like us will keep on with this because its damned addictive lol even OP admits it
(over 30 hours on my QE so far and still loving it ;p even if she has the same weapon and powers for all that time and i cant somehow get my carnifex past VI, in the great sceme of things it matters not one jot

I love the multiplayer. As a person who love co-op games such as L4D and Gears horde, ME3's multiplayer is exactly what I would have wanted from the Mass Effect world. I love being able to play as my favorite alien (Krogan) I've always wanted to play as one in some form or another ever since ME1. I'm having a blast with no signs of it becoming dull, and it will only get better as more content comes along. Great job Bioware!
That's cute and all but when you start to play more often and hit Gold you'll realize it's not what it seems.

WHat makes it boring for me is the lag. They really need to improve the AU/NZ servers. I think the intrest will decay eventually; but then again I don't have the time to play at all hours.
I agree that lag is definitely an issue (especially w/ no way to see ping), but what you're probably missing is that there aren't any servers. Games are hosted P2P - whoever the "Leader" is. The reason you're having laggy play is because you're probably playing w/ someone who's hosting in the US, Europe, or just on a bad connection...
The netcode doesn't seem to handle all kinds of things very well (rubber banding, missing projectiles/bugged weapons, missing targeting, etc etc).

I'd like to see a higher difficulty added eventually, and new classes.
Bioware did an amazing job.
