Am I the only one whose interest in MP is starting to decay rapidly?

Further to my previous post explaining that I play all the classes, use most of the weapons and don't "Farm" as such, my point is this:
A game that is truly fun, you want to play all the time. If you NEED to play it in moderation to enjoy it as much, then there isn't as much re-play value to KEEP you hooked as you first thought.
No?

I agree with this. You can't say a developer did "a great job" if you can't play the game for hundreds of hours and still not get bored of it.Lemnisc8 wrote...

Because of my busy schedule I usually only get 1-2 hours a night - that seems to be "just right" for keeping me addicted so far
Exactly this - if you play the game obsessively then complain about a lack of longevity then that's just silly. Obviously there's going to be less longevity than, say, Battlefield or Call of Duty, as those are arguably purely MP games.

It takes on average an hour of playing to get a spectre pack, given that only 1% of successful extractions are on gold (according to bioware's stats). That spectre pack often doesn't yield anything you want. Even when you get a sought-after weapon, you're now driven to upgrade it, especially if you play classes that depend on reducing weapon weight. And often, a rare or N7 weapon at level 1 is inferior to your level 10 common weapon, so you can't even use your new unlock until you get it a few more times.
So the game's own incentives yield very little progress for an hour of playing. So people are going to grind for hours to get that black widow etc. If the game's content isn't varied enough to keep that grind fun, it's a design flaw.
The game either has to make an hour of playing more rewarding, or create enough content to keep things interesting.

Those stats are quite "old", I'm sure Gold missions are now much more succesful and numerous, since most people got experience and new gear.
