So now that they've "won", a "high number" of Retake Mass Effect supporters are apparently asking Paypal to cancel their donations to Child's Play. In addition to people who donated to charity, then apparently realised that donating to the charity wouldn't directly get them a new ending ... so wanted their money back.

I'm not posting this to smear Retake Mass Effect. Just because it's shockingly horrible.

As much this is very likely to be very true since lot of people are selfish idiots, I still have feeling that this is fake news just to give this movement really bad name.

Which makes them ignorant AND dumb, I am really sorry, for harsh language, but demanding money BACK from charity is probably the lowest a human can go. And there is NO apology that makes it ok.

Gotta love the numbers game. First, members of Retake are mercilessly painted as "a vocal minority" in their views. Then, another vocal minority within the vocal minority are being used to paint the entire thing as a non-altruistic venture- which is *obviously not the case* if people are doing the research. For the people who are demanding their donations back? Yeah, they *should* be ashamed. But so are the people wielding the hater and misinformation brushes... *looks at posters in this topic*... which is apparently most people in here.

Well, not to conspire much, but Penny Arcade called Retake movement whiners and the drive have just been stopped ....so .... the timing is actually quite suspicious

Yes, like this is not the Xnt thread about this already....

As for it being fake, afaik its not. But its a few jerks, while the vast majority still considers their donations done/valid/whatever and would never think to ask for "refund"

But by all means lets smear everyone.
