For many here, they want to see a happy ever after end of the story. GET REAL. In real life such things does not always happen.

In real life sales drop when customers don't like the game.

This.

I pre-ordered DA2 and ME2 and ME3.

Purchased all DLC for DAO and ME2 (even the character costumes). Will never pre-order a game from them again and will wait for gamer reviews, not IGN etc.

As DA2 was for me a letdown no DLC. If ME3 doesn't change the ending I have no interest in buying more content for the game.

I won't purchase another EA game, and if Bioware has been swallowed into this then im sorry to say it will be the same. Fans are to them a huge group, yet Bioware has been a personal thing in our homes in the games and on the forums, it feels almost over.

This attitude of, if you don't like it, put up and shut up is really grating as i'm seeing in threads. The fans have been suckerpunched in epic style, and to top it off you can't say anything about it because 'you didn't get it' or 'your not matured' or you need to 'get a life', or 'go out and do something productive'. This is bull****.

I can't say I won't ever purchase another bioware or ea game again because let's face it, if it has excellent player reviews, then chances are I'm going to try it but even before the ME3 ending psychosis, I was already cautious on buying anything from ea to begin with, the ME series being the exception. The only reason I actually got involved in the forums was because there was a bug on Thessia for me where if I killed all the reaper forces in the beginning at the bridge with the mounted gun it wouldn't go to cut scene. I actually wasn't able to find a workaround at the time on the forums but started to see all the complaints about the ending. Eventually after a little experimenting I found a workaround in my own and was able to finish the game.

I can't say I hate ME3. The game itself has been absolutely amazing and almost tear jerking at some points. After I beat the game, I started pouring over the forums to see if I had missed something. I was like ok...that was an...odd...ending...right? I honestly felt helpless that left me with a feeling of "Huh?". While I didn't go into rage mode like some people I did feel the need for something more...and not another game.

That being said and to go back on topic, I do think bioware will have a loss of credibility. At this point we already know ea has an awful reputation, especially now that it has been named worst company...I seriously had a good laugh at that when I first read it. I've already stated in other posts I will consider buying another bioware/ea game if it has good player reviews but not from the big reviewers. I've read enough to be convinced that the big reviewers are full of crap. I can understand why ME3 got the reviews it did, I believe as a playable game it's excellent but the end of the *story* (which is why so many of us love the series) is a confusing mess of nonsensical, head-scratching, and apparently rage inducing bull.

Be that as it may this is however my opinion and like all of you just wanted to share it.

I bought a new pc specifically for bf3 because i had played bf2 on and off for 5 years, i played bf3 for about a month after release and haven't bothered since. Why? The gameplay and graphics had improved immensely but it was like call of duty, which my son plays. He bought mw3 with his own money and a few times i actually asked him if he was playing bf3 or cod because the maps were so similar in the city at times. Origin is ok but not even necessary, then the battlelog with the facebook type interface. That is when i realised what EA were doing, then i hear me3 has mp, i wasn't surprised just had a 'oh here we go' thought. I know bf3 players who feel the same way. Now Bioware is under fire and the forums are turning sour with the pro/against ending fans. Its so bloody sad.

I really wish i didn't feel this way but i won't apologise for it either.

I really don't think BioWare/EA  will make the extended cut much better then the current endings. The only reasoning they are doing anything is because players are boycotting MP until the ending is fixed so EA is seeing their cash cow going down. EA only cares about micro transaction and have already made close to $15mil off ME3 MP to date. I have a wait and see approach on the extended cut dlc, and I think sales from MP will tell EA how people felt about the DLC.

There is enough multiplayer games out there, mass effect is a single player franchise and should have been kept that way. The dlc is damage control nothing more, appeasement <_<.  If the fans were satisfied and mp came out people would have lined up to buy it. Again all this rubbish avoided. Is common sense a goner? Im really baffled.

Edit: I played me3 on a family members console with the mindset, if this is ok i will buy it no problem. Now my only reasoning to buy it is for mp but a lot of ppl tell me its not that great, so i feel the only choice left  is see what the dlc is about then move on.
