more people want a sugar coated ending than the one we got... im not mocking that (i kinda want it myself) but given the bile thats been poured on that option by some major games websites, it says quite a lot that this option beats the current ending :D

Yet another example of the Retake movement troops being mobilised to manipulate an opinion poll.

Manipulate...an OPINION poll.

You cannot be serious.

No, i'm quite serious.

You people like to point to all the different opinion polls and say "Oh look - another poll in which 'we're' winning, and people still say we're a minority", when the undeniable truth is that the polls are intrinsically linked by behaviour such as this.

The same people are voting against the endings in all of the different polls. If you were to allow them to just take their natural course without rallying the troops, we'd be granted a more honest insight into the views of the gaming community.

There a Bioware Poll that shows nearly the same results.
Not everyone is vocal.

You'll find that personal insults are against the terms and conditions. It's hilarious that i'm the only person that has refrained from making such comments about others.

You're not covering yourself or your movement in glory here.

You can disagree and debate the differences without name calling and being rude.

Why don't you pro-enders go and organize to fight back? If you are so large majority, you should have no trouble making polls reflct your opinion...=]

I'm not a "pro-ender". I'm pro-BioWare doing what they want with their intellectual property.

Because if they feel they have to cave into you people, it'll likely result in them taking less chances going forward. Dragon Age III and future projects will have less intelligent and more cliched endings, for fear of similar backlash.

And no. You're woefully ignorant of human nature. Those with an axe to grind are always the most vocal and organised. You never see people take to the street with signs to congratulate -- only to protest.

4% out of 16,000 (at the time of this post) think the endings are fine as it is. Sorry, but I don't think that's a result of a minority fudging the poll.

A-Fair enough. But they shouldn't advertise one thing and deliver another.

B-Mass effect 3 was huge step back. So was Dragon age 2.

C-I would agree on this actually . And the reason that people have an axe to grind is because of point's A, B  and .

8% want a new, happier ending.

83% want not neccessarily a happier ending, but just a better ending.

That's 91% not satisfied with the existing one.

Pretty much par for the course.

How exactly is providing player choice, something on which the entire franchise is built upon as well as the subject of numerous promises and advertisement, 'caving' in to people?  Also.. for some reason you seem to imply that the current ME3 ending is intelligent and non-cliche.
